Feature:
It’s actually fun navigating through this module. The editing functions are a breeze. Roland made it very easy to use. All the built-in songs are REAL audio which makes it really really fun to play along to. Plus the USB input makes it possible to save backup kits and even import .WAV files to save right on the module.

Quality:
It’s a Roland. They’re the best. You definitely get a lot of bang for the buck.

Value:
If I could give it an 11 I would have. You get a lot of quality for your dollar with this kit.

Desirability:
With the exception of the TD-20…I think this is the most “attractive” kit in Roland’s line-up.

Sound:
Amazing. I just upgraded from a TD-6 to the TD-9s and the difference is incredible. The sound this module produces is deep and rich. The only reason I gave this a 9 is because I think a 10 is reserved for the TD-20. I played the TD-12 at the store and I believe, at least to MY ear, this module is right up there with the TD-12.

Ease of Use:
VERY easy to use. Almost everything is displayed as a picture not just words, which makes it not only easy but fun.

Support:
I’ve only had to call them twice and that was because I was too lazy to read the manual. LOL. With the exception of one rude support tech, they are very helpful.

Overall:
Between the quality of the sound and construction of this kit, I don’t think I’ll be looking to upgrade for quite some time.

Feature:
the coaching features are great. its like having your very own drumteacher at your disposal. i wish it had come with the DC wall unit, it is sold seperately, as is the mounting stand. a little extra volume on the internal headphone jack would be nice too.

Quality:
Roland quality at its best. i’ve only had it for a short time but believe it will take care of my needs.

Value:
it’s a little spendy but i feel it is worth the investment. it is an instrumental tool for improvement.

Desirability:
i bought for the right reasons and it has served that purpose for me.

Sound:
the sounds are realistic to their description and typical Roland quality.

Ease of Use:
the manual is easy to follow and walks you through step by step. it provides for a quick reference.

Support:
i haven’t required any service or support as of yet and do not anticipate so.

Overall:
i expect this piece of gear to last and serve my practice needs. i would purchase it again.
