The light weight hard shell case that came with the guitar is awesome, and includes a hyrometer built in!
Quality:
I have the satin finish model – and the finish is flawless. All the components look top notch and I expect it to last a long time.
Value:
For the money, it’s a sweet deal. I bought it so I could “semi-retire” my antique Martin D28 and protect it from damage on the job. For most applications, the Masterbilt sounds as good, and sure plays much easier.
Sound:
This guitar has deep, loud, and mellow sound.
Ease of Use:
Out of the box, the action was high, and hard to play. I had it tweaked by a local dealer who is an expert. When it came back, it played like a dream, with NO loss of volume or overall tone.
Support:
I’ve had no need to contact the company.

Everything you need, nothing more.
Quality:
Seems to be made to a quality level more than commensurate with its mid to low price tag.
Value:
You get much more than your money’s worth. It is a damn bargain at this price!
Desirability:
Functional, like a classic denim shirt or a BMW 3 Series. Looks great in an everyday kind of way. Good looks, but not sexy. Personally, I like it better this way. Maryanne over Ginger.
Sound:
Sweet, clear, accurate. Gets better with time and play.
Ease of Use:
Easy to play.
Support:
Never had to as of this date.
Overall:
Great guitar. I will buy another, probably the classical version.

rock-solid
Value:
the best amp for this money on the market
Desirability:
this amp is sweet looking and sounding
Sound:
the sound…. ahhhh the sound! it sounds like something straight out of the Fu Manchu album King of the Road. I love it, although to get the diversity i wanted, it required some pedals.
Ease of Use:
couldnt be simpler, just like it was 40 years ago, with the added second channel
Support:
i have had no problems so far.
Overall:
i love it and do not plan on replacing it.

Epiphone turns up the volume with the psychedelic Zakk Wylde Signature Les Paul Custom, with a raw, powerful sound. The Signature Les Paul features Wylde’s trademark black and white bullseye graphics over an antique ivory finish, and pearl block inlays on the fingerboard.

It came without accessories but the guitar has great features. Gold hardware, inlays, striking decals, aggressive humbuckers, grover tuners and more. A thinner neck would be nice though.
Quality:
There’s great attention to detail and the weight suggests high quality components. There is no camparison to some of the lower end Les Paul guitars.
Value:
Amazing price for such unbelievable quality.
Desirability:
Everyone wants to play my guitar and on stage it is truly mesmerizing. It actually draws attention from the lead vocalist.
Sound:
Extremely versatile. It produces and very crisp distortion sound and can be played expressively when clean too. Great for everything from Green Day to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Overall:
I hope I never need to replace it.

Overall not a bad guitar for a beginner!
Quality:
The product is decently made , but the neck shifts so it’s not appropriate for road gigs or alot of jumpung around.
Value:
There is not alot to choose from for lefty’s at this price range so you get what you get.
Desirability:
The paint is good , and the volume controls were very good and smooth, it’s just a jam guitar. Will not play it live.
Sound:
The sound is decent in the high’s . The low’s are a little muffled due to the low quality of the pick up. Go after market pickup.
Support:
Have not had any contact with the company , though I wlould like to pursue a endorsement with Epiphone , I am a fusion / rock shredder super fast alla Al Dimeola.
Overall:
I bought this because @ this time I can’t afford a Gibson les Paul.Eventually it will be replaced with a superior model.

i love the chrome hardware, plus the cherry color.
Quality:
i cant tell if the guitar has great qualities, until i pick it up, but im sure its good. if its under the epiphone-gibson brand name, expect it to be good.
Value:
this is an awesome guitar for an even more awesome price. i was going to buy another type of sg, until i saw this one.
Desirability:
i want this so bad, i have a squier strat, which gives the word crap a meaning….. this will definitly be my replacement guitar…. since im left handed
Sound:
im putting 8 because i havn’t heard it yet, but i know it will sound great.
Ease of Use:
im buying this guitar soon, so i hope it sounds good. my friend told me he played one before, and it sounded great to him.

i got this for a christmas present and i got was the guitar and hardshell case. i wish this could some emgs in it but thats not what the pauls are all about.
Quality:
it seems the guitar will last me a great while. im in a band called Still I Rise (add us on myspace.com/stillirise) so i travel with it a lot and it is very dependable. my bottom right knob keeps going for some strange reason…and i also wish it could be lighter.
Value:
i think the price is worth the guitar. but it could also be lower.
Desirability:
its just pretty, thats it.
Sound:
the sound is great for a more rock and roll player. but for me its just doesnt quite get the job done…its not metal enough for me…it sounds to pretty, which really is’nt a bad thing at all when i like to play pretty songs to impress the ladys haha. but in all seriousness, nothing against les pauls but its just not raw enough for me.
Ease of Use:
my knobs just cant adjust to the sound i want. the guitar is to heavy to any sool stage moves with. or i might just be weak haha. i also feel as though the strings cant sit close enoughe to the fret board for easier technical style guitar playing.
Support:
no problems i couldnt fix
Overall:
im already wanting another guitar after only 2 years of having it…i could just be real picky though.

The solid top is what makes this guitar!
Quality:
Only the electronics drags the rate down. If electronics are not needed it could be a 9 in it’s price range. I bought a blem and it doesn’t show it anywhere. I saved a few bucks and got a nice guitar period!
Value:
In this price range? Can’t be beat! Great sound! easy play! I plan on putting new strings on it when it arrived. Per the reviews I’ve read. But it sounds good right from the start. I think a good set of strings will do nothing but improve the already good sound.
Desirability:
Looks don’t mean a thing if the sound is crappy.
Sound:
Nice sound for the price, great starter guitar. It could have better electronics to pump up all the sounds. An equalizer would do it justice.
Ease of Use:
You have to be close to the amp controls to get the sound right, the only down fall of this guitar. If played with out an amp, this guitar is very nice. Because of the electronics I rated it a 5 it deserves to be more. the quality is there.
Support:
Yes, I have an electric guitar by Epi. replaced the control knobs. They sent a whole set out FREE! One knob was cracked and in my book replaced!
Overall:
I plan to get some learning time on this and then go to a higher priced model. Maybe another Epi.

This will last you until you save up for your martin, guild, or gibson. for 1000+ $
Sound:
I got one of these back in about 97 or 98 when i was but a teenager. I have beat it, kicked it, scratched it, thrown it, put stickers on it, etc. They used to be a bit more expensive back then i think around 250$ or so. Anyways, i just took this in to have a couple frets sanded down, this guitar will not fail you.. these puppies were built to last.. and stand the abuse.. and still sound pretty damn nice.. you wont find a better guitar for this price.
Overall:
get it now.
