The sound is great, very warm and i dont have a huge setup..i am getting a pro daw but even on my stock soundcard from a 2003 computer the thing makes a great recording and i dont have very expensive mics either…i can only imagine what it would make that sound like. I simply do vocal recordings and have this thing as a usb interface with a mic going into it and then it goes into my computer, recording with cool edit pro 2.0 For having decent equipment and then using this thing…it makes everything sound warm and smooth especially after mixing it correctly post-recording. If you want to get this u will not be sorry.

A/B-Y switching works two ways. It lets you switch a common source signal (guitar, bass or keyboard) between two amplifiers or amp channels. Or conversely, it lets you switch two source signals (ie, two different guitars) into the same amplifier. A good quality A/B-Y switcher will also provide LEDs or other indicators to show whether A, B or Y routing is in effect. I just bought it and will be looking for a differant one that will switch SILNTLY. I took the chance wilth the little to no info I could find on this and lost. What’s with the big clunky bang when I switch the pedal? Guess you get what you pay for.

I have three of these and they are super. Easy to hook and easy to configure. I use one as a combiner and two as splitters. Great product for the price!
A 24-volt condenser mic will run perfectly on 48 volts. In fact, mics rated at as little as 9 volts can often operate on 48 volts, but you should check with the manufacturer first. Conversely, a mic will generally perform best driven by not less than its rated voltage so, for a 48-volt mic, you would obtain best results with 48 volts of phantom power. The Phantom I is a great choice for these needs.
