Feature:
Some sounds are more usable than others
Quality:
It is build like a toy with nice electronic innards
Value:
If you need it to enter MIDI into a computer it looks like a decent way to do it for the money. I really think this product could get much better in the coming years if they keep developing it. It isn’t quite a toy or a real instrument. That probably make it just perfect for some people. As long as someone understands that, they will probably be satisfied with it
Desirability:
If the price could stay where it is and the quality improved it would be more worth having down the road.
Sound:
It sounds ok not great but it is still fun.
Overall:
You could get a decent real guitar for the price. If you need it for the midi then go with it.

Feature:
I’m reluctant to write this… This unit has ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDING, EASIEST TO USE DRUM MACHINES you can find anywhere built into it. I bought this thing as a portable practice keyboard because it’s very light and has decent sound. Only after I brought it home did I discover the drum machine buried among all the other features. I couldn’t believe how great it was. I’m a songwriter with a home studio, and hate the tedious programming many drum machines demand. You can’t build a drum pattern note by note with this keyboard, but the 100+ pre-recorded patterns sound professional, include intros, fills, A & B versions, and endings, and the programming is dead simple once you figure out the built in 2-track recorder. It’s now my primary drum machine, slaving my multitrack recorder via MIDI.
Quality:
It’s light and made of plastic. The key action is not for serious players. The real value is in the quality and quantity of the sounds, and the above mentioned drum machine.
Value:
Yamaha impresses me again. I’ve had great experiences with their products over the last 20+ years. There is value in this keyboard for everyone from beginner music students to music professionals.
Sound:
Sounds acceptable through the built in speakers. Sounds fantastic through the headphone/output jack.
Ease of Use:
This thing does a lot for an inexpensive keyboard. Some functions require cracking open the manual to figure out.
An all-new set of voices makes this the best sounding DTXPRESS kit yet. The Special version shares the same module as the Standard, but has a larger snare pad and more cymbals with our real hi hat pad.

First layed eyes on tis product, I new it would be sturdy, complex and have quality sound. Who cares aout colors. It’s an electric drum kit.
Sound:
The sound on this thing is gorgeous! I love the fact that you can change the woods of the kit because it makes a big difference.
Ease of Use:
Looked Hard at first, but when I got my hands on it, was easy. Looks easier to work then you think. Had it for about two days now and can almost work everything except the user kits and haven’t tried aux-in.
Support:
Haven’t had to worry and don’t think i will.
Overall:
Couldn’t have been hapier with this product.
About as close as you can get to natural sustain, the FC3 offers continuous sustain performing exactly as an acoustic piano would. Unlike most common pedals, the FC3 has a unique continuous zone that allows for different types of sustain. Other features include a 6-foot cable with a 1/4-inch plug.

Love the Nutrik Speakon connections – Very Solid – made to last forever and ever amen.
Quality:
Rock Solid –
Value:
I’ve owned several different brands of powered & non powered speakers and I’ve listened to brands costing much much more – These are much better to my ears.
Desirability:
I own them.
Sound:
Crisp sound with my Motif ES powered by a Yamaha EMX-12 powered mixer.12 string guitar sounds magical – played multiple outdoor gigs with prestine clearity (per the audience) Have owned a few other brands that were quite notable in this industry but these flat out rock and can take whatever you’ve got to push through them.
Ease of Use:
Plug & Play baby
Support:
The very best support hands down is NOT EVER needing support. If I need support the product is flawed or is in some way not intuitive enough for me to work with and who wants that when the pure objective is to be playing music NOT to be yappin to some guy about why the product isn’t performing the way it should. Again – Not needing support is the best support.
Overall:
It will be quite some time before needing another set of these, my sons 8 & 9 years old will probably be able use these well into their future gigs.

Quality:
Well made.

I am considering returning the unit for a different product and manufacturer because of the polyphony limitations.
Sound:
Do not be fooled by the 128 voice polyphony spec. I created a soequence using the Brush Drumset, Fretless bass, Vintage Rhodes, and Lyricon synthlead. I recorded the drums first. When adding the bass track, the bass tones were already being clipped! Polyhony actually refers to “Elements” not how many notes you can play at once. Apparently the brush drum set has multiple elements for each sound depending on velocity, whether or not it is stereo, what octave the note is in. So just a drum pattern and bassline used up all 128 elements. Sucks.
Ease of Use:
Easy to get around.
Support:
Good support. The techs quickly worked on figuring out the polyphony situation.
