Feature:
everything does what it should. great design.

Quality:
great unit. if only they had come along 15 years ago. would have saved me thousands in crappy distorion pedal purchases.

Value:
does what i need it to with excellent results.

Desirability:
glad i have one.

Sound:
i use a 100 watt Hiwatt from ’73 through a 4×12 matching cab. the beast needed to be tamed. i could not be happier with the results. at greater levels of attenuation (12-16db), it does change the sound a bit. but i am not suprised by this, the speakers aren’t being pushed anywhere near how they are with no hot plate. you lose a bit in the highs and lows, which is what they put the deep and bright sitches on the thing for. when those switches are on, the low end is slightly unnatural, but i dont find it offensive. i just wish i had one when i was playing shows every night.

Ease of Use:
virtually self-explanatory. just make sure you have the impedance issue figured out.

Support:
the boys at thd were willing to let me bring my head over to the factory and try one, but i never had time to head over there. i got one anyways on the recommendation of a friend who uses his with his vintage Park 100 watt. but they seem super cool over there.

Overall:
i’ll never need another.

Feature:
Just enough features: Great clean and over driven tones. Can switch the master on and get a Plexi tone via footswitch or switch it off for clean chordal work. 20/50 watt switch too.

Quality:
Perfect hand built and expensive, but you can see and hear the quality, well not hear any hum at all.

Value:
Not cheap, but may be my last amp and I have had tons in the past.

Desirability:
It is kind of funky to look at, but when you hear it, well that is it..

Sound:
Very pure tone machine, play good and it will reward you. Can do Fender clean and Marshall rock, not metal though. A pedal could help if you want to do the metal thang.

Ease of Use:
It is just an amp, not a modeler so it is easy to plug in and play, just spend some time with the manual to understand its potential.

Support:
I hours email turn around, have had no problems with amp, wanted Hotplate advice, got it fast. Great guitar players company.

Overall:
Not a rich person, so I will enjoy this baby for years to come, maybe another THD 2 x 12 in the future.

Feature:
I’m sure it could have more “stuff”, but it has what I need. The speakers are excellent.

Quality:
No issues.

Value:
Should be about $150 less…

Desirability:
Looks great under my head. If your head is 26″ wide or less it’ll look really nice.

Sound:
Exactly what I want out of a 2×12 cab. I actually have 2 of these cabs, to make 4×12 for larger venues (30 watt Budda head). Great low-end, yet very clear mids and highs

Ease of Use:
Very light – will fit in the front trunk of a Porsche Boxster.

Support:
Takes some time for them to answer emails.
