Sound:
Of the acoustic amps I’ve tried, I find the California Blonde comes closest to reproducing a realistic acoustic sound. This is the sound I was looking for. I find the ‘Blonde has all the power I need. I’ve played it in a variety of venues have always been pleased with the performance both indoors and out. I use it as a simultaneous pa system. All the guys in the band always want to use my ‘Blonde. I love it.

The Aural Enhancer and the Bass Intensifier are a plus that makes this 400 watt amp sound like a 700 watt amp!

Quality:
The product is well constructed and attractive in appearance.

Value:
The price on this amp is very reasonable considering it’s quality sound and appearance.

Desirability:
The Bass Intensifier and the configurations.

Sound:
The sound is excellent – growl, depth, bass, mids, and highs!

Ease of Use:
The variety of knobs for dialing in the sound you want is awesome!

Support:
No problems yet! Just bought it September 12, 2007. Played two weekend gigs and the rest of the band went nuts!

Overall:
All my other amps and cabinets are ampeg. I paired the SWR 400 with one of my ampeg 410 400 watt 4 ohm cabinets and the sound was great. I actually had more definition on my sound from this head. My ampeg heads are very warm sounding but don’t have the definition of the SWR in my opinion.

SWR 750X Pro Series Bass Amplifier Head (750 Watts)Crushing volume, 2 killer effects, and pure SWR tone. The SWR 750x is the first upgrade to the highest-powered mono professional bass amplifier, the Bass 750. In addition to new chassis graphics–featuring the SWR logo badge in classic chrome–the 750x has inherited 2 popular effects circuits from the SWR Mo’ Bass: SubWave (which produces a clean, pure and accurate octave effect) and Overdrive (which affects the pre-amp’s 12AX7 tube to create overdrive that can be as subtle as a classic “flip top” or as nasty as a half stack).

I love the distortion. You can blend it in with the clean sound to be sure the low end doesn’t disappear. I use the limiter all the time to keep my playing even.

Quality:
No problems whatsoever.

Value:
It does seem a bit expensive, but I still think it’s worth it.

Desirability:
It does look very cool with the Goliath Sr I have. The chrome and black is pretty sweet on stage.

Sound:
The sound is very SWR. Full, deep lows. Clear highs. Punchy. A very rich, powerful sound. I play a Fender Precision, and the sound is just perfect. My band plays Indie Rock and I have to compete with two loud guitars and a loud drummer. I have no trouble being heard, and

Support:
The always email me back quickly whenever I have a question.

Overall:
I’m not sure I could afford to replace it if it broke, but I am definitely NOT looking for anything else. It meets my needs perfectly, and I’m really glad I bought it.

Good features: the aural tone knob is very cool, the bass intensifier allows a lot more bass, the limiter keeps you from distorting your amp and screwing it up.

Quality:
Very good quality. SWR makes great amps.

Value:
A little expensive but thats what you would expect for such a powerful amp and such a popular brand name. The price doesn’t even matter… the amp is great

Desirability:
I have always liked the SWR logo. I like the red on the 900 amp. But this amp looks cool too. There’s a really cool blue light that comes on when you turn the amp on and when you activate the bass intensfier.

Sound:
The sound is very impressive. You can get a ton of bass out of this thing. You can shift the Aural tone knob and change your sound to match anything you like. The bass intensifier adds a whole lot more bass to that! Awesome sound!!!

Overall:
Awesome amp no doubt about it. I don’t have much money and this amp hurt my wallet a little bit but other than that this amp kicks!!! Definately the best amp i have owned.

Feature:
Used in conjunction with the SWR Bass Enhancer, this cab meets all my needs

Quality:
Very well made except the carpet finish does collect ‘fluff’ etc.

Value:
Having spent some time reviewing the competition, the swr came out tops

Desirability:
I’m long past the stage where sex-appeal of a speaker cab is relevant. All I can say is that the quality is superb

Sound:
Superb sound and tone range across all frequency levels. I use this in conjunction with the Working-Pro 15 cab and the 300W bass head. My basses are a Fender Precision for general use and Burns Bison for extra tonal variety. The sound is brilliant with both instruments.

Ease of Use:
The only problem I have is the weight – it takes two to carry it. However, the results are worth it

Support:
Not needed to contact them

Overall:
The SWR Working Pro speaker cabs and the Working-Pro amplifier is one of the finest I have come across and that is after playing bass for over 48 years. It is suitable for all genres because of its range and adaptability.
