Feature:
Not much, but extras aren’t too expensive, so, all-in-all a decent deal. I got the 8GB Memory Stick for a little over $100.00. Doubles the recording time.

Quality:
Excellent.

Value:
Very good value for the price.

Desirability:
Compact and rugged and good looking.

Sound:
Sound is excellent. Very sensitive, so don’t move or touch it while recording or else you will get serious distortion. Better than the Marantz IMHO.

Ease of Use:
Once you read the manual, it works as advertized.

Support:
Don’t really know – haven’t had to contact anyone yet. Frasnkly, I seriously doubt I wiil.

Overall:
Will be a keeper for sure. Don’t think you can go wrong with this product if you are into recording meetings, and other such speaking events.

Feature:
Does the job, swizel earpiece design messy, fiddly, cumbersome. Speakers are awesome

Quality:
Good quality, I damaged on of the earpiece swivels so that it wouldnt hold properly.

Value:
Best I could find for the price by far, the cheaper ones were all total crap!!!

Desirability:
They are big headphones, they attract attention if you wear them in public (MD in pocket powers them surprisingly well) hope the I have sex appeal even when I can’t hear anymore, won’t be long before I’m deaf!! (did you say something?!!?!?! speak up, I can’t hear you, but i see your lips moving!!)

Sound:
I tested a lot of sony headphones before buying the MDR7505, just kept on trying progressively more expensive nits until I found headphones that could handle volume and bass without distorting at half max volume when connected to my net MD. The MDR7505 produces fantastic sound, uncovering sounds I have never heard before in well known music. Great for techno, trance, drum ‘n’ bass, and of course heavy grungy rock!

Support:
Sony replaced under warranty, 6 months from purchase date, no questions asked, due to damaged earpiece swivel.

Overall:
They’re a bit big to wear around town and at the shops!! Very highly rated by me, the sound is awesome, but I know there is a bigger pair with even bigger speakers, so only a 9 for the MDR7505. I don’t know how people can listen to music through lower quality headphones.

Feature:
No accessories came with the unit. The title feature is very clunky, so I will be transferring the recordings to my computer cd recorder with Pro-Tools lite, and covers with Adobe Illustrator. If they could make one with a keyboard adapter for the same price, or a little more it would be an excellent feature.

Value:
yes it is

Sound:
There was somewhat of a steep learning curve to figure out some of the nuances, but once I purchased a better phono cartridge and a good equalizer to get a good sound going in, I found that the unit produces great recordings. Very picky about which cdr’s you use. No luck at all with Memorex discs on a spindle. Almost sent the unit back until I moved to individually packaged Sony discs. USE HIGH QUALITY CD’S!!!

Support:
I have not had to deal with the company. The product works very well by itself without help from the factory.

Overall:
It will be a long time. I would imagine 5 to 6 years before I outgrow it. Withe 500 records, 200 casette tapes, and 20o 10.5 ” reel to reel tapes it will be years. There are also some wonderful recordings still on records that make good cd’s.

User Reviews:
Quality:
After some use in the field, if you sweat on the job, the earphone cover will deteriorate and break down causing little flakes of black stuff to stick to your ears. Kind of gross and definitely annoying. Just thought you’d all like to know if you plan to use these in a rough working environment.

Overall:
Life of the product as-is is fairly short if you use them in the filed where you may break a sweat.
