Great practice guitar…get a Gibson if you want to be Eric C….get an Epiphone if you want to be a ‘bug’ (ie..Beetle) BUT a Silvertone if you want Silvertone retro to the 60′s and jingle in yo pocket…HO HO HO

I bought two of these basses for loners. They had been previous demos, and had some pretty nasty belt buckle scratches on the back. I put new strings on them and now I have been recording with them for the last three years without any problems. I have more expensive basses but I am very pleased with how well these perform.
Value:
Buy this bass seperately. Forget about the accessory package. You’ll save yourself a few nickels. You’ll be wanting a good and bigger amp anyway. Very cheaply priced, but a very nice bass. Good enough for anything.
Desirability:
It’s good looking. Not a technical marvel, just a basic good bass. It is a workhorse that won’t make you puke over the price.

This is a good value. Terrific bass for the money. I wouldn’t bother with little amp. It good enough for practice, but it’s just too small to be good for anything else. Try to buy this bass seperately. The accessories aren’t worth bothering with.

It comes with everything a beginner needs. The strap and picks are great. I used to use the tuner, but now since I learned how to tune by ear, I don’t use it anymore. I like the fact that it came with some extra strings and a DVD.
Quality:
I love the finish! When I got it, everything was in perfect condition just like it’s supposed to be. It still is, even after 2 months of accidental drops and hardcore playing!

It is 200% worth its value.

The black finish is the bomb, even though fingerprints show up on it easily.

The sound is outstanding except for a small buzzing sound from the 6th string. But other than that, I am more than happy with it.
