Quality:
A beautiful unfinished cymbal. No two are alike. Mine looks like it was sitting on the bottom of the ocean for many years–stunning. The hammering just looks cool. Nice heavy cymbal.

Value:
Worth the money. You get what you pay for in cymbals. This is my second K series cymbal–the first being a set of 13″ hats.

Desirability:
very sexy. Tells people you care about tone without having to say anything.

Sound:
This ride has a dark, dry complex tone to it. If you are into the bright pingy sound, don’t go for this K. Great wash and crash/ride tone. Great stick tip definition and a surprisingly big bell tone.

Ease of Use:
Like all K series cymbals, you have to know how to play to really use them well. The range of sounds is huge though–almost like having 3 cymbals in one.

Overall:
don’t think I’ll be looking for another ride ever.
