very well built amp. qsc specifies the rmx 1850 to be more stable in 2 ohm loads for long hauls. wish i knew that before purchase, but no biggie because once i plugged amp in i fell in love.i am very satisfied with the rmx 2450.

I have used it and sounds great the only thing that bothered me was that in very large areas it needed more speakers to help it give the punch it neede. I have used it on several ocassions it sounds great and from my expirence using I’ll be getting one soon.

It’s practicly plug and play. But if you cant plug it into a multi socket it trips. Also very large and extremly heavy so it’s unpractical in that sense. But easy because it’s powered.

Unless I become huge I can see no reasons to upgrade ever! Excelent speaker looks great and sounds it. I used many speakers in my life and this is by far the best. Thanks QSC cant wait to see wats comming next. If your a touring rock band DJ or installed sound you will love this speaker.

Sound:
Sound quality is good. We only use this product live. We use 4 of these amps with 16 JBL SR4726 speaker cabinets (four per amp @ 4Ohms) and the sound quality is superb. Give them plenty of electric and don’t over drive the system. Any Amplifier will reproduce the sound efficiently if the system is set up properly. Don’t ask it to do more than it is capable of doing. Our Crown power Amps seem to work much better on the low end though.

hopefully we will keep these amps until we wear them out.We compared this product to Crown Amps(probably not a real fair assesment), but dollar for dollar we feel this product served our needs and was an affordable alternative. The fans are a little noisy, but tolerable.

A/B’ing speakers for a while had me sold on these. I worked for GC in pro audio for a long time and and was sold on my SRM-450′s…until I went to shop sound for a new club I’m opening. The QSC’s are louder, more efficient and cleaner than any powered 2-way I’ve ever heard. Almost 0% distortion at full volume. These paired with my txd-118 subs ran by a plx3102 and I have the best small system around. Spend the extra money-sound quality makes or breaks anyone in this business
