Feature:
The mixer came with the AC power chord and the manual.
Quality:
I’ve only had my console a short time. It appears to be very well made. The only concern is how well the pots will stand up to their use over time. I guess I’ll find out.
Value:
For the price, you can’t get anymore “Bang for the Buck”.
Desirability:
Looks “real cool”. Very professional.
Sound:
I’ve just changed from using three different individual amps to the PMP5000. The sound has changed. Nolonger do the amps “fight” each other. The sound is clean and clear.
Ease of Use:
If you’ve used any type of mixer in the past, the PMP5000 is a “no brainer”. Very straight forward. Just plug it in and start playing around.
Support:
I’ve had several Beheringer products. They have all bee very good. I have not had to call for support.
Overall:
I won’t be looking for any other mixer soon. If it breaks or gets stolen, I’ll buy another one.

Overall:
So, I book a live gig with one of my studio clients. I didn’t have a bass amp at the time, so I told him to make sure he brings some PA, or rent the venue’s system. Well, the venue was charging roughly double what I think they should have charged, even though the equipment itself was worth the price… Anyway, my client pulls up and pulls this little PA head out of the trunk of his car. I’m sarcastically thinking, “Great!… A cheap little Behringer PA mixer.” The PA that he brought was this 180 watt powered mixer and 2 old Gemini 2-way 15″ loudspeakers. At this point, I’m embarrassed to play though this PA. I think I heard the bartender snickering at us too, but I’m not 100% sure…
Nevertheless, this is a good client, so I swallow my pride, discouragement, and discontent to help him set up the PA. We put the speakers on stands, connect the speaker cables, hook up mic’s, guitar, bass, etc… Soundcheck = BLOWN AWAY!! We had to turn the volume down a little bit, and this thing filled a meduim-sized, 2-level bar with good sound. As aforementioned, I’m playing my 5-string bass direct into the PA with this little mixer. I’ll just say that the tone wasn’t ideal strictly due to the amp/loudspeaker configuration, but the tone was pretty good nonetheless! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this little PA head! I’ve only used it the one time, so I don’t know how this unit would perform down the road. But for the one gig, it was a good little powered mixer. Satisfied user!!

Value:
$500.00 is a lot of money for something that does not work that well outside of the studio.
Desirability:
Not sexy.
Sound:
For 900 watts, I found the sound to be extremely weak. Also, the effects are very lacking. I can’t get the volume I want. I was looking for power. I did not find it in this product. It does sound very good in small setting (e.g., your living room or very small club). Great clarity insmall settings. At an outdoor setting, listeners complained they could not hear it.
Overall:
I’m returning it tommorrow.
They feature new improved low noise mic preamps, multi point clip sampling and a new subsonic filter to prevent low frequency power robbing. New graphic equalizers have multi-Q bandwidth to allow some filters to perform feedback control while others perform tone control and have Peavey’s patented FLS (Feedback Locating System).

Feature:
Efects and Equalyzing are very good. I’ve done recordings and tracks with it and the sound quality is very satisfactory.
Quality:
I find it elegant and that it has a practical shape for storage. I never carry a backup when I use this product because it never failed me and it feels like it will never let me down.
Value:
Compared to other comparable items, my experience is that this equipment is worth every penny.
Sound:
Is just great for the money. It has a lot of impact resistance, very portable for the sound quality and features and very easy to use.
Ease of Use:
The interface is simple for someone with no expert knowledge. It’s easy to modify and custom the sound to your taste.
Support:
I’ve never had to ask for support for it.

Feature:
What can I say , Tons of features, from the 3 band eq with sweepable mids to the 800 watts per channel (4 ohms) to excellent usable effects which can be also routed to your monitor mix. This head has most feature need for any small to medium act.
Quality:
Built like a tank but still light weight…
Value:
a bit pricey but if you want quailty you must pay for quality.
Sound:
This unit sounds great. The EQ’s are very good amd the Mic Pre’s are very good too, Still not as good as on the Onyx boards but just a notch below. The Graphic Eq’s are musical and not typical of most Graphic EQ’s helping when they are need.
Ease of Use:
Simple to use and setup. Can’t say enough about the easy it is to setup and get an excellent sound.
Support:
Haven’t used it yet but never ever had a problem with a mackie product.
Overall:
Althoug a bit pricey and I would have like to see the Onyx pre incorporated into these unit, you can not marvel at the quality of products that mackie puts out including these small but powerful PA heads. If you are looking for a powerful and excellent sounding PA head. look no farther than the PPM1008 series head. Well worth it for the quality and flexability you get with it.
