Feature:
This is loaded with features. It has a LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) and Ring Modulator together. It also has jacks for the Moog expression pedal for each dial on the unit. You can also input your own Carrier Signal into the unit if you don’t want to use the built in LFO.

Quality:
The unit seems like it should last long, as long as it’s not banged around. The side panels are wood, but the bottum is a kind of thin sheet of aluminum or steel. Just don’t drop it a bunch and it should stand up fairly well. The footswitch seems to be pretty sturdy.

Value:
This pedal can create an array of sound unlike anything I’ve ever heard. If you’re interested in experimental sounds, this pedal could be of great value.

Desirability:
It’s a Moog, what else is there to say? The name speaks for itself as far as desirability.

Sound:
The sound quality on this unit is excellent. You won’t believe it’s coming from your amp. It sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie at times. Crystal clear. This unit is great for making insane sounds, but it can also be used as a great tremolo unit.

Overall:
There are a few other Ring Modulators on the market, but none of the compare to this. Don’t make a decision until you’ve heard/tried this one out. It’s worth the extra money.

Feature:
I wish it had a little more control over the timbre and a way to select different base waveforms. But for a traditional theremin, it already features more control than most.

Rock solid construction. The circuit was designed by the man who invented the synthesizer – what else could you ask for?

Don’t you?

Superb!! For the price, this is simply the best theremin available.

Feature:
I love that you can plug in expression pedals in the back to remotely control the various knobs while still being able to play.

Quality:
Built tough. The previous owner of the pedal banged it up quite a bit, but it still operates perfectly.

Value:
$440 is a bit much for an effects pedal, especially since any of the sounds that this produces can be replicated with a little bit of knowledge of vsts. But having a real live, zero latency, makes it worth it alone.

Desirability:
Sexiest pedal out there. It makes weird sounds, but is still completely practical for the music i want to make.

Sound:
The sheer range of sounds that this thing can produce just from mild tweaking is what made me glad i bought this. It can sound like a phaser, or a tremolo, or a drum machine, or underwater, or trapped in a computer in the 80s. Really cool.

Ease of Use:
Just spend a few hours with it and you can it figure out. The cool thing is that after you do there are still things to learn.

Support:
haven’t used it.

Overall:
This is what i want out of pedals: versatility, great sound, and fun. And this provides that.

User Reviews:
Feature:
Videos are good, expecially because a theremin is an instrument that most will have to learn without a teacher.

Quality:
It is made well, although since I do not travel with the instrument, I cannot attest to its ruggedness when disassembled and reassembled on a regular basis.

Value:
It is what you have to pay in order to get a good theremin, so it is worth the price.

Desirability:
A theremin is an instrument that always amazes those who hear it. This is not so with, say, a piano, guitar or drumset. Sometimes the theremin seems more interesting than the performer.

Sound:
Clear, penetrating, full sound, with a pitch range that inspires experimentation with new sounds.

Support:
Moog music ws very helpful when contacted. They took an interest in my problem, which was one related to tuning the instrument when tuning was beyond the capacity of the external controls.

Overall:
When I bought it, it was considered to be the one to buy… maybe not the most expensive, but a serious instrument. Now, whenever there is a better instrument out, I will want it.
