The thing has three jacks. Look elsewhere for frills.

Quality:
It works; even after being thrown around, stepped on, etc.

Value:
If you need a merger, get this one. Short of DIY, there isn’t a cheaper, better one out there.

Desirability:
If you need it, you want it. If you don’t need it, you certainly won’t want it. Sex appeal? This is more like a genitourinary device.

Sound:
It’s MIDI. You can’t hear it.

Ease of Use:
If you can’t figure this device out, find another hobby (sidewalk chalk comes to mind).

Support:
Never had to deal with them.

Overall:
If this were lost or stolen I would buy it again.

It’s a handy unit for performance or just trying out different MIDI components on the fly. Since it’s MIDI powered, there’s no need for a power supply. Last thing I want is another wall wart!

Quality:
Well, there’s no moving parts, but I found that I had to force the MIDI cables into the sockets, for a very tight fit.

Value:
The price is worth the size, simplicity and convenience of the unit.

Desirability:
It’s a simple box!

Sound:
It’s a MIDI unit, not audio.

Ease of Use:
1 MIDI input for your controller to up to 4 MIDI components, couldn’t be simpler. The indicator lights up when MIDI data is present…did I say no wall wart?

Support:
No support needed.

Overall:
I wouldn’t need to replace it, only if lost or damaged. Rather than use one of my rack MIDI switching/thru units, this small box can be hooked up anywhere and immediately.
