These are NOT balanced cables! They are unbalanced cables with XLR connectors on them. The have connected the negative signal pin to ground. This means that you will pick up hum, condenser mics will not work, and that this can be dangerous to use on mixers with phantom power. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
AmeriQuad microphone cables feature hum-bucking bi-wire geometry for superior low-noise performance (20 dB of additional noise reduction compared to 2-wire configurations) and deliver crisp, clean, reliable sound.

Quality:
I am gradually replacing all my cables with Proco quad cables. They are QUIET. They have no noise. They stand up to (moderate) abuse. They coil, uncoil, pack, unpack, plug unplug, cart, drive, repeat, repeat. They would be worth every penny if they cost twice what they do. The Excalibur instrument cables are excellent, but I want to try the quad wire instrument cables also. The quad wire microphone cables are the final word in mic cables. Just get them.
Value:
Cheap cables are fine, but only if you have cheap equipment to go with them. If you have good microphones and good mixers, amps, cabs, instruments and recorders then you need good cables. Get these.

Feature:
Straight forward- no gimmicks or zipties needed.. just do good wire management and you set to go.
Quality:
Finish is smooth and professional looking.
Value:
Value for dollar- it is a little pricey vs HOSA’s but then you get what you pay for. I would rather buy it once than to go back and buy another set 6 months down the road after you’ve messed up a major project. It’s your call. Pay now or really pay later.
Desirability:
It’s just basic looking and even the packaging is not like Monster but who cares. Even if they sell it OEM I would buy it over those fancy packaged Monsters..They are consumer not pro.
Sound:
The sound quality is very accurate and transparent on my KRK V6′s. Even a very low volumes thru my Sony MXP-210 professional mixer..I get clarity and low noise. I don’t get radio stations like the other guy mentioned previously but perhaps he didn’t do a very good setup. Sound is very clean.
Support:
Haven’t used it so I am picking it as above average.
Overall:
Get it and you won’t be disappointed. Even has a lifetime warranty in case you get a bad stock..doubtful though.

Overall:
I own a 25′ Planet Waves Swivel Mic Cable XLR (Male) XLR (Female), and will use no other brand of cable. These cables are durable, provide a great connection to your equipment, and produce no noise. The gold-plated connections also guard against the corrosion that other metals are prone to, and the double-insulated / dounble-shielded cables stop hum and triboelectric noise dead in its tracks! This microphone / XLR cable also provides reliable phantom power to my gear, and I use it as an instrument output from my preamp to the sound system. Even better is the awesome innovation of a swivel plug, allowing the cable to plug into hard-to-reach places. This feature also keeps the cable out of your way, and reduces cable strain at the site of the connection. I own and use 15 Planet Waves cables of various types for performing and recording, and they deliver an awesome signal! Planet Waves guarantees all of its cables for life, and they’re built to last a lifetime! These cables are well-worth the investment!

It has everything a cable should.

Well, the Belden cable and Neutrik connectors should speak for themselves. Time will tell.

The Neutrik connectors look nicer than cheap ones…

This is a pretty decent sounding cable. I don’t know if it compares to handmade, or Mogami studio cables, but nice nonetheless.

It works like a cable.
