Korg, the company that invented the first hand-held electronic tuner, has now created the world’s smallest metronome. The Korg MM-1, an on-ear micro metronome, is only slightly larger than an earring, but packs all the functionality you could want for rhythm training.

Feature:
The multiple time signatures and other goodies, such as a built in subdivider make this product very helpful.
Quality:
Only downside is its size. This prduct is very easy to lose on a marching field… trust me. It is a bear trying to find it again.
Value:
For value, this metronome beats out the others I’ve looked at. For the number of options and size, this item is very well priced and worth its cost.
Desirability:
It’s so freaking small! Nobody knows where the heck the little beeping is coming from, all they know is that it’s there!
Sound:
As a Drum Major, who needs his hands free, this product helps more than most people realize. This can give an exact tempo without having to listen to a big bulky metronome, put it back into your pocket, and more than likely forget the tempo in the first place. This one, however, allows you to simply keep the metronome in your ear, allowing for easy access, sure tempo, and free hands for conducting.
Ease of Use:
The lack of buttons makes the mode choice and other options difficult to operate, but after a day of use one gets used to it and the product works very well.
Support:
Haven’t had any trouble with it.
Overall:
I’ll probably keep it until it gets lost or trampled… Both being very possible occurances.

Feature:
has less features that the microkorg!! didnt like the pattern edit style or the screen at that!!
Quality:
the quality of the keys are better but not the over all quality
Value:
not worth the $500 at all!! just cause it looks vintage doesnt mean u bump the price up!
Desirability:
the over all look is great, but its not about what it looks like- its about what it sounds like!!
Sound:
should of never even made this synth!! the original microkorg blows this one out of the water! sounds the exact same but just $100 more for what- a vintage look? thats just dumb if u ask me!
Ease of Use:
i will give it this, it was easy to use but not easy to edit personal sound with i think thats what a synth should shine on!!! i hate preset sounds & really just gave up on it after a while.
Support:
korg is awsome so il give them a ten! i own alot of korg products & never really had a problem so far!! knock on wood!!!
Overall:
not worth the money…. sorry korg!

Feature:
I love how the pads light up and the XY pad is the ish! Could use at least 1 more assignable knob, but what would really hit the spot would be a fader.
Quality:
Compared to the MPD16 and Trigger Finger, this is awsome. Stays in place and won’t budge.
Value:
Drums weren’t meant to be played on a keyboard. Try one of these and find out what you’ve been missing.
Desirability:
You wouldn’t think that the pads lighting up would help you play, but it does. You see when you hit one that you didn’t intend on hitting as well as reassuring those you did.
Sound:
This thing doesn’t make sounds, but if you are using a drum program like BFD (which is what I use) or any soft synth you’ll be takin’ to a new level with the sounds you produce.
Ease of Use:
I would say it is a 10 on ease of use but you would have some serious issues plugging this thing in and not having access to the documentation or the editor software.
Support:
Haven’t used it, but you can count on Korg.
Overall:
I’m very excited. I’ve been waiting for a pad controller for awhile and wasn’t impress with the reviews on the MPD16 or the Trigger Finger.

Great features… I would like to see some more options with time signature. I would also like it to have more effects going on at once.

I love it! Im glad I made the purchase!
When Korg set out to build a slim-line MIDI controller keyboard, they utilized their years of experience in manufacturing innovative MIDI keyboards to create a great-feeling, velocity sensitive keyboard based off a laptop keyboard. The resulting 25-note keyboard on the nanoKEY will transmit your playing dynamics to your software accurately and expressively. In CC (Control Change) MODE, the keys become MIDI controllers, allowing you to control any MIDI assignable parameters within your software.

Feature:
Came with a usb cable which is all you need
Quality:
Well it’s not great for a standalone controller. It’s cool when u want something portable when you sit on the bed or are in a car or even sitting under a tree. Prepare for the most annoying sound ever which is the clicking of the keys that are designed like computer keyboard keys. It gets the job done.
Value:
The price is right for what it is.
Sound:
No sound (it’s midi controller)
Ease of Use:
Plug and Play (easy)
Support:
It’s Korg..You’ll never need it.
Overall:
You won’t be Jan Hammer with it but you can input notes and augment them later. Very nice aftertouch and pitch bend buttons. No delay. Plug and Play easy. No need to install any software. Not the end all be ll but purchasing for portability is 100%

Feature:
I like the two sequencers.
Quality:
Cheap, cheap cheap. I bought this keyboard 8 months ago and I have replaced the Db and Eb key. I never seen anything so cheap in my life. The Casio $99 keyboard have better keys. This is only a toy for children.
Desirability:
I am very disappointed with quality keyboard. I have a Roland and Yamaha. Never had any problems with anything breaking, especially the keys.
Sound:
The sounds are not bad for a $1000 keyboard.
Ease of Use:
This is not a user friendly keyboard. It takes time to learn it. You can go in certain modes and it will lockup with you. What I mean is whatever button you press will not change the mode or sound. I have to reboot in order to get back where I need to be.
Support:
These guys do not have a clue.
Overall:
This is a home unit and not to be carried from place to place. The keyboard shell cheap plastic.

Feature:
I like the knobs. They gave you a bit of interaction with the sounds. The ARP works fine. Lot of usefull sequenzes. LCD is poor! Even my Handy XDA got a better one. Like the USB Port for direct access with the Computer.
Quality:
Low cheap quality with lots of problems. USB sometimes cause problems. After disconneting the Editor I got no sound from the X-50. Sometimes the whole thing crashes. Last firmware update was made, but it didn
