Feature:
What more could you want? It holds the guitar, locks the headstock in place automatically, and the length of the stand is adjustable with a simple spring-loaded lever, as is the back support. Very nicely done. My only gripe is with the foam used to cushion the headstock area and the back of the guitar. It is supposed to be safe for all finishes. -2 for that – I’ll explain below.

Quality:
Very well built, it will definitely hold up. The brand is called “Hercules.”

Value:
They’re a bit more expensive than a basic guitar stand, and the quality and features reflect this in the price. It’s still a little too expensive for a stand.

Desirability:
It’s different, and it looks nice.

Sound:
The aluminum tubing/foam combo give this stand a unique resonance with tons of sustain. Just kidding.

Support:
Never had to deal with them.

Overall:
I really like this stand but as others have pointed out, the foam is not really safe for all finishes as it’s advertised. I use this stand for my Les Paul clone, and there are tiny little “acne” spots where the foam comes in contact with the top of the neck where the headstock blooms out. They are very small and hard to see, and it hasn’t burned the finish completely off as another reviewer has reported, but something will have to be done about that foam. Otherwise the stand is excellent, and I would definitely buy another.
