Mini to the max! You can use this super-compact stereo headphone amplifier with practically all headphones-four of them at the same time, to be exact! For example, you can let up to 4 different people in your studio listen to the main mix while the recording is being made, and each listener can determine his own volume level using the dedicated output level controls. The HA400 contains 4 high-power stereo amplifiers that maintain the highest sonic quality even at maximum volume levels. Ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers are included for outstanding audio performance’these are the same op amps found in “full-size” audio equipment — plus, a DC 12-Volt adapter is included.

Feature:
Comes with it’s own wall wart- nice. Does what it should.
Quality:
Rating of 9, not 10 ’cause there’s gotta be a catch somewhere. Solid aluminum case. Don’t step on it and it’ll last for a long time.
Desirability:
I got one and gave it to my church. Now I want one for ME!
Sound:
Clean, punchy and clear-no noise that I can hear. Drives even difficult headphones well.
Ease of Use:
4 individual volume knobs…how much easier can it get?
Support:
Direct dealer exchange for faulty product, responsive email support.
Overall:
This is being used in an unusual way- coming off of the matrix output of a Mackie Onyx large format mixer to distribute a non house mix to video and audio recording. The live mix is too heavy on vocals and keyboard, since everyone else uses their amps onstage. The matrix submix lets us compensate for that, and the HA400 lets me distribute that mix cleanly to different recorders at different levels. Perfect to feed a collection of pro- and consumer-grade units the church uses!
This very unique, portable mixing station from Furman is the best way to provide your musicians, or your self with quality mixes right where you need it most. Not only does it work for you, but you can mix up to 16 different people all out of this one machine.

Feature:
its a gets a 10+ in this area more than enough for a headphone amp. you can plug into the front for easy access or the back to hide the cable…and it has some high and low eq knobs for tweeking plus both master and channels volumes
Quality:
at high volumes the right and left mute isnt 100% effective there is some residual distortion on the muted channels…however it is only for monitoring of a recorded signal so this wont affect me much.
Value:
this gets a ten you cant touch the same piece of gear with the similar quality for under $200. i paid 109.99
Desirability:
it like most or all behringer gear looks quite nice…the sex appeal is there. im not sure if id sleep with it though
Sound:
seems pretty flat
Support:
im just going to go with nine here cuz i have never had to use it, i base this on the average of the other grades.
Overall:
i have other behringer products and none have broken on me yet i use them id say about everyday…i guess ill use it til it doesnt serve it purpose anymore. the quality seems to be good.

Feature:
It’s a headphone splitter/amplifier. It splits the signal into eight channels. That’s teh only feature it really needs.
Quality:
LIke all of Behringer’s products, the construction is rock solid.
Value:
It does what it needs to do, and has a low price tag. It’s extremely functional.
Desirability:
It’s ugly and noisy, but does what it needs to do. No more, and no less.
Sound:
The sound is pretty terrible. It’s extremely noisy, but generally this unit is only used to give performers a track to play along to. It doesn’t have to be good since it isn’t the audio that is recorded. For this it is fine.
Ease of Use:
This is extremely straightforward. Run the output from your DAW into the inputs, and plug your headphones in. That’s really it.
Overall:
I’ll continue to use this product. I use it on film sets to deliver audio feeds to my boom operator, the director, and the script supervisor. In the studio I run channels to musicians. It does what it needs to do. Alot of directors ask me about the hissing, but it’s just the unit.
