Feature:
The only thing it needed is a decay knob. Otherwise I like the simple controls. It was mighty white of them to include an A/C adapter as well. Boss makes you spend $20.
Quality:
Mostly a metal chassis so that’s good. A bit on the thin side, but I don’t plan to stomp it into the floor.
Value:
The pedal was inexpensive, especially with my store discount.
Desirability:
It’s just reverb. Kinda like air, it’s not a big deal unless you aren’t getting any. Probably the most important of the subtle effects, though.
Sound:
On a clean channel this reverb pedal sounds great. And with analog circuitry the breakup is nice and smooth. The problem that at high gain, the pedal induces a bit of hiss into your signal and is very washy, even at the lowest knob settings. This pedal would have been perfect if it had a decay parameter that you could turn down. I don’t like the banging sound it makes after silencing chords at high gain.
Ease of Use:
It doesn’t get easier than a three way selector for the type of reverb you want, and a wet/dry knob.
Support:
No need.
Overall:
I bought this to use with an Orange Tiny Terror which doesn’t have reverb. I don’t plan on needing another reverb pedal for any of my other amps.

The DL-8 is an 8 second true stereo delay with 11 delay settings ranging from analog tape, reverse and modulated delays to a 20 second looper. The DL-8 features a 3 color LED indicator that shows pedal status in the looper mode. The delay tails can be retained when switching the pedal to bypass by setting the Tails on/off switch.

Feature:
The looper is great for practice and even can be used with a band. Its very simple to operate as well. Tap tempo is nice feature too. Of course true bypass with the ability to have trails after you shut off the delay is really nice.
Quality:
Solid built pedal. Very heavy duty and seems built to last. Even more so than Boss.
Value:
$150 seems very fair for a delay of this quality.
Desirability:
I choose this one over the DD7 because of the true bypass. Yes, the Boss has a little more looper time but the sound quality seemed better on this pedal. Plus true bypass made it an easy decision.
Sound:
This delay has something for everybody. I personally like the Tape and modulation modes. But it has a lot of versatility packed into it. No tone loss with this pedal either on or off. You can shape your delay exactly how you want to. A crisp exact reproduction of your sound or a warm dark fading delay and a good bit in between.
Overall:
Great pedal, very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is you can’t use the looper and the delays at the same time.
Based on the infamous Carl Martin Delayla, the ‘Red Repeat’ provides an affordable 600 milliseconds of delay as well as a simply controlled echo. Add just a touch of delay to thicken your sound, or push the repeat circuit past 12o’clock where the unit begins to self-oscillate, just like an old analog delay. Great vintage style and colour in a heavy diecast, 9 volt pedal with heavy duty bypass switching.
