Moog Music MF105 Moogerfooger MuRF Filter PedalThe Moogerfooger MF-105 MuRF is the antidote to generic, boring effects. MuRF stands for “Multiple Resonance Filter Array”. What this means is the MuRF has 8 filters – their levels are controlled by 8 sliders. It looks like a graphic eq, but the sound of the filters are very different: warm and resonant.

Feature:
I love that you can plug in expression pedals in the back to remotely control the various knobs while still being able to play.

Quality:
Built tough. The previous owner of the pedal banged it up quite a bit, but it still operates perfectly.

Value:
$440 is a bit much for an effects pedal, especially since any of the sounds that this produces can be replicated with a little bit of knowledge of vsts. But having a real live, zero latency, makes it worth it alone.

Desirability:
Sexiest pedal out there. It makes weird sounds, but is still completely practical for the music i want to make.

Sound:
The sheer range of sounds that this thing can produce just from mild tweaking is what made me glad i bought this. It can sound like a phaser, or a tremolo, or a drum machine, or underwater, or trapped in a computer in the 80s. Really cool.

Ease of Use:
Just spend a few hours with it and you can it figure out. The cool thing is that after you do there are still things to learn.

Support:
haven’t used it.

Overall:
This is what i want out of pedals: versatility, great sound, and fun. And this provides that.

Moog Music MF107 Moogerfooger FreqBox Synthesizer PedalThe MF-107 FreqBox is different from other effects — the effected sound is not a processed version of your input signal, but the sound of the input signal modulating an internal oscillator. It contains a VCO with continuously variable waveshape and the capacity to modulate that Oscillator.

Feature:
the five different knobs helped me find the sound i was looking for in each effect. it did not come with any accessories except batteries. I really enjoy the Seeker, Synth-o-Matic,Growler, and Attack synth. I wasn’t very amused with the Q-filter and the V-tron tho

Quality:
It was made pretty well. Though I’m living in constant fear that something bad might happen

Value:
Probably not. the price could be alittle lower. But then again, synth are very expencive. The price of the FM-4 is cheap compared to other synthesizers

Desirability:
hehe. I don’t think it’s a very attractive piece equipment. But the sound makes up for it.

Sound:
The sound of this product it quite good. Very strange and very organic.

Support:
Never reached the company. I haven’t had a problem yet.

Overall:
Aftter playing the product for many month. It has opened knew doors for guitar playing. This product lead me to other different guitar synth items like the Roland GR-33 Synth guitar and Keyboard synthesizers. I think this product really sent my guitar playing in whole different direction.

Feature:
just the box.

Quality:
product is solid but the sliders will break eventually, i can feel it. KNOBS KNOBS KNOBS!!!

Value:
this is a one trick pony; as such, $100 max!!

Desirability:
it’s ok looking; bulky though.

Sound:
The few sounds that you can get out of this piece of crap are tinny and lame. It doesn;t sound ANYTHING like an analog synth. More like a dying violinist. The notes are cut off eventually no matter where you set the filter, making playing a pain in the ass. You can get one or two good sounds out of it but you can’t play multiple strings, let alone chords, or even have another string vibrate as you play.

Ease of Use:
negative infinity would be more accurate.

Support:
never dealt with them but heard good things

Overall:
this is point blank not a synthesizer.
