With its extreme gain, the ML-2 is the most potent and heavy distortion pedal ever created by BOSS. It easily delivers massive distortion and gain with heavy lows for playing Nu Metal, Grind Core, Industrial, Hard Core, or any genre that requires crushing sound. The ML-2′s ferocious and biting tone will complement and cut through any blast beats your rhythm section can create.

I have to say, I was sceptical and excited about this pedal. I own the MT-2 and have for a couple years, I have also tried numerous other pedals. This one, out of the box, kicks ass. Easy to manipulate tone (unlike the nasaly MT-2), serious bottom end and screaming highs. I have fallen in love with a pedal again! It was a long time coming, but it’s definately worth the wait! Get one and try it out, if you don’t like it return it, but I doubt you will!

Housed in a compact, die-cast box with smooth corners, The Little Big Muff presents the classic, true-to-heritage, 1970 tone that falls somewhere between the current U.S. Big Muff and the Russian Big Muff. Its long, silky smooth sustain proves that celebrated sound can indeed come in small packages.

For some odd reason, my volume and sustain knobs were reversed so instead of going from left to right sustain, tone, volume it goes volume, tone, sustain. doesnt effect the tone of the pedal though… at least to my knowledge. I havent tried any other LBM so I couldnt say for sure.
Quality:
built like a tank, as we like to say. really sturdy
Value:
at 66 dollars, what more could you ask for?
Desirability:
sound wasnt exactly what I expected but I grew to like it as I played it.
Sound:
Pretty amazing sound although when I turn the volume up on the pedal it will start crackling a bit while the note is playing. I think that might be due to the fact that I already have an 18V bass cranked to full. I still have to try it on my 9v bass, see how that handles it.
Ease of Use:
pretty easy!! 3 knobs, 2 jacks and 1 stomp button…
Support:
I just sent them off an email 5 mins ago so I cant say.
Overall:
I still have to try more distortion/fuzz pedals to know for sure.
Along came a little thing called Catalyst, a tiny little Distortion Generator that has none of the drawbacks of your standard Fuzz pedal. It is an incredible Fuzz/Distortion (with toggle switch set to Flame position) and works as a Phenomenal clean-boost, and overdrive as well (with toggle switch set to Spark) The Catalyst has what is known in the company as a Max-end-all 2 Band EQ that features an excellent hi-cut with a great Bass control having the proprietary ability to bring in incredible sounding midrange when the pot reaches around 3 o’clock on its rotation.

I think it should have come with a adapter hole, but mabye they didnt put it in because it is battery friendly. The input and output hold dont hold the cables very well but its easy to fix. Other than that its perfect.
Quality:
Its made all out of metal, so its held up for alot of my gigs (although i dont recommend it for gigs, SEE in features.)
Value:
This is probably the best deal you could ever get. i mean 60 bucks for a legendary pedal? Cant beat that.
Desirability:
ehh. Its not like attractive but it does look cool.
Sound:
The sound..Its OKAY, not the best. It sounds alot better with a Boss overdrive, so if your planning to get this make sure you have a overdrive or some kind of heavy distortion, just to bring out the muff tone more. The sustain is not the best, i would definetly recommend a Big Muff USA edition if you want more sustain, but if you want fuzz go with this.
Ease of Use:
Oh yeah, its like the most user friendly pedal, its got 3 knobs but its just Volume, Sustain, and Tone.
Support:
Well, to say ive never had to call the company for a complait or anything!
Overall:
Awesome Awesome AWESOME pedal. The reason i didnt give it a 10 is because of some of the features.

It came with an adapter! Most don’t, and it sounds like an original Green Screamer.
Quality:
This is a tight fitted pedal, hasn’t broken down on me after some serious hard gigging with it. Brings a whole new meaning to the term “stompbox”. No cosmetic damage after throwing it around, and after dropping it in a puddle fully submerged, it still sounds great.
Value:
Get this and don’t spend more money on other overdrive pedals. It’s a waste of time.
Desirability:
I own it. I loved it the first time I used it.
Sound:
Sounds fantastic, excellent tone, good highs lows and middles, great for using as a plain boost as well.
Ease of Use:
Three knobs, self explanatory on the labels, easy to step on to turn it on or bypass it. I love it. Easy in and out, clean audio signal both ways, works great with every amp I’ve used.
Support:
Not necessary for something this good.
Overall:
Like I said, buy this pedal and don’t waste any time. It lives up to the name, and I wouldn’t trade for any other overdrive pedal.

includes plenty of control knobs but besides volume the sound is really effected yany of them
Quality:
one good thing its made really well stomp away!!
Desirability:
the pedal is finished well its just a pity it doesn’t sound as good as it looks
Sound:
the fab knob doesn’t seem to work even switched all the way down you still get loads of distortion plus the sound is very thin and trebley not bad for solo’s but thats about it
Overall:
at the moment im not using this pedal prob trade it in for something else

Quality:
its well built, but who cares WHEN IT SOUNDS LIKE CRAP.

HORRIBLE! all there is is fuzz on this pedal. this is NOT for metal. no matter how much you turn its knobs it just blasts the same crap. i am an owner of a boss metal zone mt-2 and i traded that for this w/my friend for a few days and after 5 minutes of using this i wanted to run back to his house and give it back dude!!
Overall:
dont listen to what everyone else says. unless your into good charlotte or your in avril lavigne’s band or something crappy like that, DO NOT BUY THIS.
