Feature:
4 knobs and 2 switches to toggle to your heart’s content. For those of us with active electronics this is a must as the Qtron is very sensitive to our electronics.
Quality:
Well, it is somewhat rigid, however I would want to drop it either. It’s certainly not built like an MXR pedal which is what I would assign a 10.
Value:
I bought mine used for a fraction of the cost. It could/should be a bit cheaper…
Desirability:
Not the best filter on the market – but close. I like it and I don’t anticipate selling it and shelving it.
Sound:
Sounds Very Funky! However it took a while to find the “Right Sound” as this pedal is very sensitive. Patience will be rewarded. At the moment it is the only effect that I am using. Keep in mind that no two envelope filters are created alike. For instance, the sound I get out of the QTron is worlds away from what I get out of my Mutron III+, another excellent effect.
Ease of Use:
…Again, patience. You’re not going to take it out of the box, plug in, and sound immediately like Bootsy. Take your time.
Support:
Nope. Not yet at least.
The ModTone MT-FF Funk Filter is a true bypass boutique style pedal that recreates vintage envelope or auto-wah type effects. High pass, Mid Pass and Low Pass settings can be used in conjunction with the F-Factor control and Drive settings to deliver a wide range of exciting tones that work great on clean or distorted signals. The Funk Filter’s reaction can also be changed by simply backing off your guitar’s volume knob to find the “sweet spot” and can also change depending if bridge or neck pickups are selected.

There are autowahs, and there are autowahs, but the Tone-Lok AW7 isn’t just any autowah. It’s got standard wah where both the highs and lows are cut and it’s got a wah setting where only the highs are cut. And it’s got distortion.

This envelope filter doesn’t cop out by giving you only one sound to work with and try to tweak. DigiTech has gone way beyond that with a full 7 different types of sounds to choose from, including vowel sounds, wah types, and other goodies. This pedal gives you a ton of effect bang for the buck. Controls feature Mix, Range, Sensitivity, and Vowel. Outputs feature Output and Tuner Out.

SEVEN Diffrent effects Probably synth and Auto wah are most usefull try fm3 rather than 4.
Quality:
Best Quality you can get from a pedal but a little accidental step on the knobs they become loose not broken.
Value:
I got this pedal for a great deal and its actually very valuable and realiable.
Desirability:
Digitech! its definetly my main pedal I use most and its just amazing I mean it all depends on the stlye of your music and how you like your effects but I really wanted it right when I tried it out.
Sound:
Its A Digitech Pedal.. What more can I say I have about 5 Digitech pedals All are great But this is their most creative one yet its a awesome pedal. Envelope funk sounds great for funkish sounds. And Last but not least the Auto-wah same as pedals wah but you don’t use your feet to trigger the pedal but rather your playing.

The DB-1 was designed to react precisely to even the fastest of playing, while still being able to deal with strong signals such as chords. In addition, the TM-1 will retain the full spectrum of tone present in the original signal without the volume peaks and dips common to other filters.

Feature:
It would be cool for other users (Bootsy) to include their settings, for the effect, in the product literature.
Quality:
It’s sturdy. It’s made of heavy sheet metal. What more do you need?
Value:
The price is certainly competitive compared to similar products. You get what you pay for.
Desirability:
I have used many effects over the years. I have done away with all of them, with the exception of the Mutron III, Big Muff Pi, and Bass Micro-synth.
Sound:
The best for that Bootzilla, underwater, ultra-wet, funk tone. I always refer to it as the ‘Boot-tron’. It is just super smooth and quiet.

Overall:
I have owned it for years. I doubt I will be getting rid of it any time soon.
The EBS BassIQ is an analog envelope filter pedal that is triggered by the notes you play. The results are the funkiest and most responsive sounds in a stomp box.

Envelope follower plus effects loop. Like the original with added Effects Loop and Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop lets you place an additional effect between the Q-Tron ‘s preamp and filter section without changing the envelope drive. The added Response Switch selects between a slow, smooth, vowel-like attack and the fast, snaked response of the original Q-Tron.

Feature:
It has tons of different combinations of sounds that are easy to create. The worst part is when the battery runs out.
Quality:
its very durable and has good quality
Desirability:
You dont HAVE to have it compared to some other wah pedals, but it is a fun box if your just messin’ around.
Sound:
This pedal is OK. If your into funky solos, this is not for you. It is mainly for any songs that require wah the entire way.
Overall:
Overall this pedal is decent. Not exactly Eric Clapton pedal, but its pretty fun to play with
