Wish it had an effects loop and reverb but it works without it fine.

Quality:
Very well made. Tolex and piping is tight. The unit has some weight to it as to not feel cheap yet is easy to carry.

Value:
It’s a great amp for the money. Remember that it’s not a Mesa or a Marshall but they don’t claim it to be. It’s just a great warm tube amp for the studio or garage or small room. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry

Sound:
Great blues, rock tone. Has plenty of volume. Use pentode side with a metal muff for good metal sound.

Ease of Use:
There is nothing about it that is hard to understand. Easy to understand complete manual.

Haven’t needed anthing yet.

Bugera 1960 Classic Guitar Amplifier Head (150 Watts)Bugera did a lot of listening to obscure, long-departed Brit designs and spent most of last year tweaking to get hand-selected EL34s and ECC83s to play nice together. They added a no-compromise non-master volume for direct signal path and a huge output transformer with specially nested windings for increased dynamic response and clarity. Ladies, gentlemen and olde chums, meet the BUGERA 1960.

Feature:
The only two things missing from this amp are an integrated reverb and the ability to change the amp’s channels without a footswitch.

Quality:
solid solid solid. You could throw bricks at this thing, though if anyone throws a brick at mine they’re losing a limb.

Value:
It’s about the same as a JSX or Dual Rec, and I personally think it’s better than either.

Desirability:
How could you not want it?

Sound:
With a Maxon tubescreamer in front of it, this is the best sounding metal amp I’ve heard as of yet. Not to mention it’s got one of the best clean channels on any high gain amp around.

Ease of Use:
Beautiful. You’ll go nuts with the Sweep control.

Support:
They answer emails within a few hours, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about their ability to service the amp if it needs it.

Overall:
Nearly a perfect amplifier.

Feature:
Just enough features: Great clean and over driven tones. Can switch the master on and get a Plexi tone via footswitch or switch it off for clean chordal work. 20/50 watt switch too.

Quality:
Perfect hand built and expensive, but you can see and hear the quality, well not hear any hum at all.

Value:
Not cheap, but may be my last amp and I have had tons in the past.

Desirability:
It is kind of funky to look at, but when you hear it, well that is it..

Sound:
Very pure tone machine, play good and it will reward you. Can do Fender clean and Marshall rock, not metal though. A pedal could help if you want to do the metal thang.

Ease of Use:
It is just an amp, not a modeler so it is easy to plug in and play, just spend some time with the manual to understand its potential.

Support:
I hours email turn around, have had no problems with amp, wanted Hotplate advice, got it fast. Great guitar players company.

Overall:
Not a rich person, so I will enjoy this baby for years to come, maybe another THD 2 x 12 in the future.

All the sound choices I need; however, one can add to the “sound library”.

Desirability:
Looks really cool when it’s on; the lights.

Sound:
With this amp I am able to get virtually any sound that I want, without a bunch of cumbersome pedals! I own a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Road King, a Marshall JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead, as well. I now prefer to use this amp exclusively.

Ease of Use:
You have to experiment with the amp. It’s an instrument unto itself and has to be learned, which is part of the fun.

Overall:
If if were lost or stolen, I’d buy another.
