If one thing personifies the image of rock ‘n’ roll more than anything else it’s the Marshall 4×12. Though often imitated, nothing compares with the original. The first 4×12 cab was designed and built by Jim Marshall in 1962. Since then Marshall has made many thousands, which have appeared on stages both large and small all over the world.

Feature:
It’s a standard Marshall cab to be used with a Marshall amp. Single 16 ohm imput. Super simple.
Quality:
Very nice checkerboard cloth. Heavy duty handles and hardware. I’m glad it has casters.
Value:
You can’t go wrong with greenbacks. Re-sale remains high if you find the right buyer.
Desirability:
You just can’t go wrong buying a Marshall.
Sound:
How can you describe the tone???? Like creamy butter that cuts through chase. You don’t have to overpower this cab to get it to sound great. Classic Marshall sound. I use it with a DSL401 combo.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in and get blown away.
Support:
Haven’t needed. Don’t over power it and it will last you a long, long time.
Overall:
I use to own a 1980 JCM800 50watt stack (bought it new in 1980)but sold it for some quick cash. Boy was I stupid. I plan on keeping this one forever.

Feature:
Small, light weight, decent power handling, great tone. Slight angle to baffle help project sound. Stereo or mono hook up.
Quality:
This say “Made in England” on the back. It appears to be as solid as all my old Marshal cabs.
Value:
good value…
Desirability:
If you play at reasonable volumes and do not want to tote a heavy cab, this thing rocks. In conjunction with a Crate Powerblock head and a handcart, it is one of the easiest LOUD stereo set-ups I have ever used.
Sound:
The only thing that could make this sound better would be to replace the speakers with EVs or B&Cs.
Ease of Use:
Stereo or mono hook up, just plug in and play.
Support:
Never dealt with them for support. Never had to..
Overall:
All my Marshal stuff lasted and never broke down. So long as you stay within the rated power (continuous RMS) you should have no problems. I love the simplified minimalist design and understated look: Classic, refined, mature… but it still threatens to ROCK at the slightest provocation. It is very easy to load and unload.Small size and lightweight are great!
