I hate the hinges they put in this box.It’s a pain in the rear.I think the box is made very cheap. the box sways in the middle and is not very sturdy for handling heavy stuff.I sent it back.

The case is great, the wheels are great, the handle sucks. The one major disappointment with this case is that the pull out handle is NOT sturdy enough to hold the weight of a mixer. I have owned this product for three years and have replaced the handle twice. Last year I gave up and now carry the mixer in the case or put it on a cart. I’m presently looking for my own handle to customize and make it better, or another manufacturer with a more heavy duty handle.

Value:
The price isn’t bad but I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for a more reliable handle.

Ease of Use:
As long as it works, which seems to be just inside the warranty period.

Support:
They replaced the first handle free of charge, I had to replace the second one on my own due to cost of sending and returning the product for repair.

Overall:
Enough from me.

Wow… I just opened this case because I have a gig coming up. I have a Hammond XK-1 B3 emulator, and I bought this case because it came recommended for that keyboard, and I was tired of dragging around my flight case. As soon as I tried to use the straps to strap in the keyboard, they both pulled out of the plywood on the bottom of the keyboard. I was completely amazed. The screws they used to hold these straps in are literally about a quarter of an inch long, so it’s no surprise that they pop right out. If you plan on keeping your keyboard snug, don’t buy this case. It’s amazing to me that Gator actually sells these things at all. I’d think they wouldn’t want to be associated with something this cheap. Avoid this case unless you need it for something besides holding a keyboard. Maybe it could hold potted plants or something over by my window.
