Feature:
Basic design, doesn’t try to do too much.
Quality:
Firewire port is off-centered, so the cord just barely fits in – almost took it back, but since it works, I kept it. Knob was dirty when I opened the package, but was easy to clean.
Value:
Very expensive but seems to be high-quality.
Desirability:
Cool design, clean sound.
Sound:
Seems to sound very clear through Yamaha HS50′s.
Ease of Use:
Very easy, after getting used to software interface (turning on phantom power, adjusting mute behavior).
Overall:
Had it for several weeks now, seems to be very good, but I’m not an expert. Wondering about adding a mic pre in-between, don’t know if it’s worth it.

Too many features to list and all work niceley.
Quality:
I have never heard a better sound interface than this. If Apogee gets any better, than i dont want to know, i dont have time for subtle differences. This thing sounds awsome.
Value:
If you are serious about recording, then its pure value for money. If not, then its a premium.
Desirability:
Looks sophisticated and High end.
Sound:
Lush Lush Lush!!!!!!!!!!
Ease of Use:
Its only a sound card, it doesnt get easier than that. Seriously, this thing works flawlessly and installed with out a hitch.
Support:

Overall:
Woudnt buy an other firewire based interface again. This thing has it all and more.

Feature:
the knobs and buttons are efficient, but without labels to me they are just excess knobs and buttons.
Quality:
Quality overall is it is a good unit. It turns on when I need it to and it doesn’t die when we are doing something important. I have never had any issues till I updated my Mac software. Hey now that I think about it. I might need to update the driver software…:)
Value:
Value is overall great deal for the price. looks and feels and sounds above average.
Desirability:
I own it…but I really wish I had a HD system
Sound:
Sound comes out pretty good. I don’t have an expensive mic or expensive mic pre-amps. But what I do have it sounds great once the mix down is complete and we send it off to get mastered.
Ease of Use:
It is very easy to use. After an update on the driver it synched up and was ready to go. Unfortunately I am now having problems with plug ins. And we don’t have that many. I’ll be calling M-Audio VERY soon.
Support:
When I called the first time they were great!!
Overall:
Overall it does the job…I just need to make some adjustments to my system to get some bugs worked out.

Overall:
I owned this unit for about a year and from day one, I had nothing but problems. The drivers are extremely buggy and caused all kinds of errors (including many blue screens) and signs of instability. Support is no help at all. As for the hardware itself, the converters are pretty nice. The unit looks great and the preamps are adequate. With TC’s support and drivers in the state they are you should definitely wait for them to improve or go with another company.

Feature:
Everything included was great but would like to have longer cords on everything and would think of offering two mikes instead of just one as a package.
Quality:
Wish the top part of the mic stand was easier to adjust. The nut and screw are as tight as I dare to get without stripping them but there’s still too little pressure to hold the mic at every angle.
Value:
What I expected to pay. Shipping on time.
Desirability:
The practicality of the package deal sold me but, again, see suggestions above.
Sound:
What I expected for the price
Ease of Use:
Hooked it right up to my PowerBook while only glancing at manuals. Plugged the headphones in the wrong spot at first but after they didn’t work and a duh plugged them into the mixer and all was fine. Took me longer to get a cleaner sound out of GuitarBand but all took was a quick read of one of the manuals. Easy setup even two beers into the installation.
Support:
Haven’t had the need to contact. Just got this toy and haven’t put any miles on it.
Overall:
I’ll add another mic so that along with instruments can record more than two tracks at a time. It works for recording simple songs with far greater quality than a computer mic.
