5 is not fare, let me say 10. it does ALL IT NEEDS to do with 2 nobs.

Quality:
It looks well made, but in my case it is not true. I may have got a lemon. In any case I will be buying an Aphex 204 Aurual Exciter as a replacement. It is more flexable, and more in-expensive.

Value:
Re-read top.

Desirability:
Check with other owners as to reliability.

Sound:
The product when FUNCTIONING, does an amazing job of “cleaning”, or “tighting” up your sound. I should mention that I use this product in my guitar rack. It is placed in the signal chain (BBE) just after my pre-amp. (GSP 2101Artist) Where the signal the goes to my power-amp,(Peavey Classic 60/60) to, two 4X12 Cabs. (1960) In a stereo system like mine, the difference is amazing. I have a complaint as to the reliability of the product. My left channel is malfunctioning badly. This unit for all intent and purpose is new. I did buy used from a friend who bought a pair brand new. He sold me his spare. I was the first user and it has lived its whole life “racked” and its AC power very conditioned and spike protected. For perspective: My 2101 new 1995, my 60/60 new 1989 orig. tubes. Just to show that it has been pamperd.

Overall:
I would not buy again.

Quality:
The unit is sleek, and only takes up one space in your rack. Havent had it for long enough to say it holds up under duress… but cant imagine it getting damaged sitting in a rack.

Value:
This unit is a great value for the money. When considering $2000 pre-amps and amp heads, this thing is fantastic bang for the buck under $200. And well worth it too.

Sound:
This unit does exactly what it says it does, makes the sound fuller, punchier and have that “pro” sound I’ve been looking for in our guitars. The reviews I read about it are true, this unit is like “taking a blanket off your speakers.”

Ease of Use:
Two knobs per channel, one handling the bass frequencies and one for the treble. So easy to use, a child could work it. However, dont let its simplicity trick you into thinking its not effective. Its just a perfect marriage of slick user interface and great performance.

Overall:
This will become a new fixture in our guitar setup, and will probably try it on other parts in recording down the road. Amazing unit, would highly recommend to anyone.

this product should be priced at atleast 300 dont hesitate, i tried it out in the store with a different head and a crap cab and on the way home i was wondering, why did i buy this it sounded like crap at guitar centter, i brang it home, OH MY GOD THIS PEACE OF GEAR RULES!

thish thing is sweet because its in rack form and its so cool sounding , makes me look pro!

this thing makes a differnece thats worth arond maybe 300 dollars, only god knows why they priced it at 100, its funny to because after u turn the bypass switch on my amp sounds horrible, i need this thing, i cant play without it!

Ease of Use:
i just put the lo countor knob to 7 and the process to 7 and a half and bam!, its metallica time!

Support:
ive never delt with this company but if i ever do id assume that theyd be nice, i meen listen to this thing, they have to be smart to
