Everthing was a winner for me!

Quality:

Value:
It pays for itself in no time! Wasn’t too bad a price considering what similar items go for nowadays!

Desirability:
Easily laid out and direct in appearance… Not a very “sexy” device but gets to the point.

Sound:
When using mics, I’ve always found myself using just an Avalon (or something similar), and hearing complaints about the sound being kind of “cold.” I found myself using plug ins such as Vintage Warmers (which work) but I came across this device called a “Distressor” that I’ve heard about but never had the pleasure of using. After using it just once, I can’t imagine working without it. Ever since, I’ve used it countless times in various studios, and have made the decision to add it to my personal arsenal of toys in my personal studio. Gotta have that British mode!!! Now, the Avalon is only used for +48 and maybe EQ… the Distressor takes over from there!

Overall:
I plan on using this product for quite sometime to come! Definitely satisfied with the quality and functionality. Highly recommended to any serious music enthusiast or audio engineer such as myself!

Feature:
All i have to say is with what other product can you get analog sound without running to tape. You get no tape noise and saved me thousands in tape costs.

Quality:
Ive had mine for 3 years have taken it to shows and its been dropped kicked stepped on and still works perfectly.

Value:
THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIECE OF GEAR I OWN. 2300 is nothing to what it has saved me in tape and time.

Desirability:
Very easy to use but i feel it needs more spicing up on the text and front panel.

Sound:
Very Quite and really warms up the signal. gets rid of the peircing highs on all of my tracks. Also the comressor especially Tracking is very very usefull. I would trade all my other compressors for this Including my 1176 and SSL Talkback.

Support:
FREE FREE FREE Tech support is FREE Repairs are FREE and to have them look at it was FREE they replaved my knobs that i broke, my front panel that was bent, and my top cover that was beat to crap. All for free. they had it back to me in 2 days.

Overall:
I will always own one till the day i die, become maimed, crippled or what ever ill probably be buried with it.
