Really cool. Love the Aux-In for iPods and love the click track. Helped me keep beet better. Love the midi-in for making kits on the computer. Just GREAT!!! This kit includes yamaha’s most complex snare drum and high-hat which is sweet.
Quality:
Two Words: Great Quality
Value:
Great Value. Everything you’d want on a drum kit.
Desirability:
First layed eyes on tis product, I new it would be sturdy, complex and have quality sound. Who cares aout colors. It’s an electric drum kit.
Sound:
The sound on this thing is gorgeous! I love the fact that you can change the woods of the kit because it makes a big difference.
Ease of Use:
Looked Hard at first, but when I got my hands on it, was easy. Looks easier to work then you think. Had it for about two days now and can almost work everything except the user kits and haven’t tried aux-in.
Support:
Haven’t had to worry and don’t think i will.
Overall:
Couldn’t have been hapier with this product.

The affordable alternative with advanced eatures. For drummers who want a state-of-the-art V-Drums kit but an even more cost-effective option, the TD9S offers all of the features and advantages of the TD9SX but with rubber tom pads instead of mesh and a dual-trigger ride cymbal.

It’s actually fun navigating through this module. The editing functions are a breeze. Roland made it very easy to use. All the built-in songs are REAL audio which makes it really really fun to play along to. Plus the USB input makes it possible to save backup kits and even import .WAV files to save right on the module.
Quality:
It’s a Roland. They’re the best. You definitely get a lot of bang for the buck.
Value:
If I could give it an 11 I would have. You get a lot of quality for your dollar with this kit.
Desirability:
With the exception of the TD-20…I think this is the most “attractive” kit in Roland’s line-up.
Sound:
Amazing. I just upgraded from a TD-6 to the TD-9s and the difference is incredible. The sound this module produces is deep and rich. The only reason I gave this a 9 is because I think a 10 is reserved for the TD-20. I played the TD-12 at the store and I believe, at least to MY ear, this module is right up there with the TD-12.
Ease of Use:
VERY easy to use. Almost everything is displayed as a picture not just words, which makes it not only easy but fun.
Support:
I’ve only had to call them twice and that was because I was too lazy to read the manual. LOL. With the exception of one rude support tech, they are very helpful.
Overall:
Between the quality of the sound and construction of this kit, I don’t think I’ll be looking to upgrade for quite some time.
A dream for drummers, the new TD4S offers outstanding feel, versatility and affordability. With Roland’s patented mesh V-Pad(TM) snare, the TD4S is a pleasure to play. It’s ideal for practice, thanks to its Mix In function, Coach Mode and Quick Rec. It’s also a great choice for the project studio, with improved sound quality and expressiveness, and MIDI output for sequencing or triggering other sounds.

More then meets the needs for playing the game. The build is extremely sold and though people complain about the hats wing nuts not being metal they are just nitpicking. The pads have a very nice bounce and the metal/plastic kick pedal is light years beyond the cheap plastic standard kick pedal. The set is made out of sturdy light weight aluminum tubing, heavy plastic (for the rims and parts of the kick pedal Please keep in mind that this is a game controller so drummers out there its not a set of V-Drums and they will never be so relax..
Quality:
Pretty damn good.. specially for a game peripheral
Value:
Buy it… totally worth it..
Sound:
Well they don’t make sound on their own so don’t know if this really applies.. But I will say that Rock Band 2 really takes advantage of these drums, the sounds soft or hard depending on the hits and in drum trainer mode the game can tell the difference between the hats/cymbals and the pads (so even though it’s green it will play a tom if you hit a pad or a crash if you hit the hats/cymbals)
Ease of Use:
Takes a bit of work to setup and get adjusted properly but once it’s done it’s easy to use.
Support:
No idea haven’t needed any support..
Overall:
It’s a great deal.. go for it..

Feature:
starter set is decent, mine didnt come with metal wing nuts (the plastic ones suck) the expansion is worth the money.
Quality:
The pads and the frame seem durable enough, the wingnuts, and the pedals not so much. The wing nuts are plastic and break. The pedals just can’t hold up to any abuse, they also look cheap.
Value:
Overall a good value, you simply can’t get anything with the sound or features for anywhere near the price. To get anything better you have to pay two or three times as much.
Desirability:
Not the flashiest drumset but the features and the price make it a very good gift and a good buy
Sound:
Pretty realistic sound for the price, but not a wide tunning range.
Ease of Use:
Prety much plug and play, the pad customization was a little odd at first
Overall:
Iv’e owned one for seven months and used it and abused it I still enjoy the sound quality the “feel” of the set and the sound options. The main flaw is the pedals they are pretty fragile.
