if you know how to install a PCI card and connect wires, then its a breeze.

Support:
had a few questions, easy to reach, very helpful.

Overall:
i will use this product until it wears out. (if it ever does) and if it does, i will most likely purchase another one just like it, possibly in the future i will purchase an upgrade if Echo makes one.

Feature:
really had to be a six because of a lack of the knob for the master volume, but it is amazingly feature packed for its size.it’s smaller than a CD case in surface.

Quality:
build quality is outstanding, design quality is outstanding, driver quality will come along because Echo seem to update their drivers a lot more often than Maudio for these kinds of things but currently it’s too early.August 2007.audiophile FireWire kicks the pants of this even though it crashes every three minutes with MIDI and the audio crashes occasionally and the volume control jams-its directx thread priority issues-immature software.

Value:
if it worked it would be great

Desirability:
I want it to work-it doesn’t.

Sound:
I only managed to get one program to play sound, but it was very nice quality

Ease of Use:
no MIDI, no audio, audio in the volume controls, not in the speakers, MIDI not in the volume controls or in the applications.could just not get this working on my super crap dell chipset FireWire-it’s not that bad!

Support:
the guy responded well but I just returned it because I don’t have time to troubleshoot

Overall:
if you have a Texas Instruments or a reliable FireWire chipset, this is a brilliant cards, except for the lack of master volume control, and their drivers really haven’t been extensively tested yet.

Feature:
no excessive heat from unit.

Quality:
very lo-fi approach to design.Even whats on the CD,no major bundles or crap or pretty things.I like this.

Value:
valued!

Desirability:
My friends all love this machine and they play and fondle it a lot.

Sound:
I went through an EMU and an M-audio trying to hook up my controller and guitar etc through my dell latitude D610 laptop. No go(latency, clicks, tinny sound) but then I remembered my previous Echo Gina that ran on my P2 233 and at the time was one of the best cards ever made. I ordered one and hooked it up and everything is better than i imagined.Again absolutely no noise.Beautiful sound and range. And punch. You could record a classic piece live lets say.Very refined preamps. The drivers fixed all my XP issues. In line with Mackie products, they have that honest sound and workmanship at a reasonable price. No bull s**t and all the goodies.

Ease of Use:
plain and simple and effective.

Support:
Nevr dealt with them ,but i remember 10 years back great driver support. They just are fantastic drivers!

Overall:
great interface.highly recommended.

Feature:
Piles of features, has most of what you need. Everything provides works well.

Quality:
My only gripe is the preamp and headphone knobs which are below par… very plasticky and shoddy feel to them. Otherwise, everyhting else is solid and very pleasing aesthetically.

Value:
Great value… works well for me.

Desirability:
Very well.

Sound:
Rock solid unit, clean clear converters, and pretty good preamps.

Support:
Drivers work well and are rock solid. However, they should have released new ones long time ago to help with improving latency to the levels which are achievable with this card.
