Lots of features, just cant get it do do anything i want

Quality:
Good quality unit. will be very happy if i EVER figure this thing out. I do hear the memory us quite limited whenb using BASS as it takes up alot of the memory

Value:
Great value if you can make it do whatx you want it to , seems to have a mind of it’s own, and doe’s seem to like me much .

Sound:
Sounds are excellent, if i could just figure out how to use this thing. I must be drum machine challenged as this is the 6th one I’ve had, and supposed to be the easiest to use, but after 3 months, i’m no further than the first day !

Overall:
I’ll keep plugging along reading and reading, but nothing seems to help, does not seem to corisponde tio the book instructions. Difficult to use in my estimation.

Feature:
They’ve covered just about everything, In Depth MIDI functionality, and “human” functions like swing, pad sensitivity etc. allow you to mimic a live drummer like no other machine. The only thing I would add would be ‘flam’ and ‘roll’ buttons , like the Boss DR-660 has.

Quality:
Can’t be beat for the price

Value:
Hands down, the class of the group

Desirability:
Already have it!!!! ;)

Sound:
The Samples are diverse and clean. Easily the most ‘natural’ sounding drum machine I have ever used. Create a song with your patterns, choose a kit then add some outboard compression and the SR-16 sounds like a real drummer.

Support:
Have not had to contact Alesis for support even once

Overall:
By far the best in its class (Until Behringer decides to make a drum machine, that is!!)

Feature:
lacks a bass part but is rarely missed. useful is a tap to tempo function not found on other machines.

Quality:
well made for the studio and jam sessions a road musician better take a back up.

Value:
most bang for the buck and sound is far better than Bxss or Rxllxnd.

Desirability:
every aspireing musician should have one for practical music study. if you got no friend to drum for you only have to punch this thing once.

Sound:
The sound is one of the better mechines in this price range. I use both keys and accoustic guitar so the various kits is very handy. I wouuld have had a foot pad pattern selector to get more quickly to a pattern in live on the fly giging.

Ease of Use:
my kid sister could work it with out a manuel.

Support:
they got their hands into all kinds of gear I doubt they want to hear from the end users.

Overall:
satifaction is high I come back to this mechine over and over again. lent it to a friend and went out and bought another.

Feature:
Bad- Volume control in back. Have to hold down the tempo tap button and rotate the large knob to adjust tempo.

Quality:
After 3 months of owning this (I bought it new), I get an errors message (“bak battery low”). This infers that the battery used to store user information is low. I only use this unit for home use and have only used the presets (haven’t stored any of my own stuff yet). This pisses me off in that I now have to take the unit back to the dealer to get a new battery installed.

Desirability:
If I had to do it over again, I would look at a different unit. Possibly something made by Yamaha. Always had good luck with their equipment.

Support:
Really don’t know at this point. Will find out when I take unit in to get battery replaced.

Feature:
Many hip hop patterns, and you can make your own.

Quality:
It is plastic. So don’t play freesby with it.

Value:
It worth more than the price you pay for.

Desirability:
Should be black to give it a 10.

Sound:
This is the best; the conga, bongos, timbales and drums, sound like the real thing. It has tunning abilities so you can tune the percussion to your sound. And the pads are sensible to the touch, hit it hard and you have a hard sound, hit it soft and it will be soft.

Ease of Use:
A caveman couldn’t do it, It is a little complicated. Take your time and read the manual. I have a week with it and keep descovering stuff every day.

Support:
I have to give it a 5 because I don’t know.

Overall:
This baby won’t go back
