DiMarzio Guitar & Instrument Cables are unsurpassed for connecting guitars, basses and keyboards to amps. Exceptionally crisp, clear, quiet and durable, they outperform cables costing much more. They’ve been called “the new industry standard,” and have successfully passed Guitar Player magazine’s “chop” and “jump rope” tests as well as many other torture tests.

The DiMarzio X2N has been the top choice for all-out power for nearly 30 years. In the last two years, DiMarzio has developed totally new ways to combine power with clarity, which first resulted in the D Activator. Now they bring you the D Activator-X Model. It features the same striking look and high output as the X2N, but they tuned the coils to different frequencies to allow maximum power wide open with a surprisingly clean sound when the volume control is rolled down, even with extreme metal and high-gain amps. The D Activator-X model features a universal spacing for both standard and F-spaced applications.

Combining the basic Evolution design with Virtual Vintage technology results in a 7-string pickup possessing crunching lows and intense highs. The output voltage of the Evolution 7 is concentrated towards the upper mids and treble, so there’s a lot of cutting power, and the low end stays hot and clear.

Feature:
Tell ya what, jam on one with the distortion cranked and you’ll feel like a metal god. They’re that good, trust me.
Quality:
Four conductor wiring, they really kick it up a notch. Drop out those stock Blaze II’s and add some scream to your axe.
Value:
The money’s worth it, but during a recession it’s tough to justify spending money on a pickup.
Desirability:
Fries your brain with powerful reproduction of the low B, or low A, or like me, Low G.
Sound:
Plenty of bite with a lot of hamonic tones. Great competition for the active EMG’s.
Support:
Didn’t need any
Overall:
Great sound and variablility.
There was no such thing as a “neck” or “bridge” humbucker in the 1950s, but there was a wide range of performance between individual pickups which made some better suited to one position. Some of the old pickups had a lot of wire on the coils, which created more power and a warmer tone. DiMarzio used new technology to duplicate these qualities – without sacrificing the presence and open sound of the best vintage humbuckers – to bring you the PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge Model, a hotter version of their new PAF 36th Anniversary.

Partly based on the pickups in Larry DiMarzio’s own 1959 Les Paul and partly on their own patented technology, the PAF 36th Anniversary Model will perform equally well in the neck or bridge position, just as the best humbuckers from the ’50s did. Want to go totally retro? The PAF 36th Anniversary Full Vintage Humbucker Pickup Model comes in standard spacing vintage “Patent Applied For” long-legged nickel-silver base, and a vintage worn cover.

DiMarzio has been working on serious vintage single-coil design with no hum for eight years. DiMarzio’s goal has always been to capture the best qualities of pickups DiMarzio heard from the 1950s and early ’60s.

Quality:
The quality of these pickups are great, though the lead wire was pretty thin, idk if thats good or bad, but very easy to install, and still it sounds great.
Sound:
Awww the sound of this pickup. These pickups are very clean, i mean its a single coil to begin, but a very clear pickup. From texas blues, to rock, to punk rock, to fusion, sry i dont play anything heavier so i have no clue how it would sound in those music styles such as hard rock and metal, but overall this pickup does almost anything! I want to a music store a few weeks back and plugged in a eric johnson strat, and quite frankly, this pickup paired with the 58s sound amazingly better!! plus no hum from the dimarzios. Also these pickups can be mounted very close to the strings, such as what I did with the bridge for a higher output. This pickup is alot edgier then what you would expect, and is also very very touch sensitive, if you pick ever so lightly, the sound will be that soft, but its just begging to jump out of the amp at you! amazing, yo umust try these! and compared to the fender noiseless that i had before these, there is absoultly no comparrision! dont make th emistake i made i buy the fender noiseless, buy these!

Quality:
come on its made by dimarzio for one, and for steve for two. quality has to be the best for those two reasons
Value:
around the same price as the high end monster studio cable and in my professional opinion is much clearer and better at producing the notes you want. go plug it in!
Sound:
the clearest sound you could ever hear from a cable. sure does beat monster cables
Ease of Use:
not quite as rigid as the regular dimarzio cables so much easier to use and doesnt get tangled up
DiMarzio’s highest gain pickup excels at thrashing your amplifier into screaming overdrive. Put one in the bridge position for a powerful boost in the voltage the amp sees from your guitar. The result is a hot sound with relentless drive.

Feature:
The twin blades are nice for bending, there’s no dropouts. 4 counductor wiring for coil taps or series/parallel.
Sound:
The sound is thick, like a super distortion with more mid-range bite and less bass. I needed a pickup without pole pieces before f-spaced pickups were around. I got mine in 1979, yea playin’ rock for a long time. I’m still using this thing in a washburn explorer a5 and it’s still screaming! I have a coil tap switch for coil 1/both coils/coil 2.
