The Quality of ProTools is the best you can get, it is even used worldwide in Record Label studios, (i.e. Ardent Records) Used by Skillet, Nine Inch Nails, and many many more.
Ease of Use:
It took me a little while to figure it out, but if you just read the directions they give you then you can figure it out. (that is what directions are for).
Support:
I havent had to use the support at all!
Overall:
I will not search for another product! The only thing I would do, if i ever had the money, would be to upgrade to ProTools HD|3 Accel but thats like $14,000.00 So that would be a LONG time from now! lol!

Software has some personality, but hardware pretty dull – but that’s not what it is about.

Software is great for audio recording. The only major setback for me was automatic delay compensation – which makes the use of the UAE cards a bit cumbersome.
Support:
Good user forums but local support not good.
Overall:
I’ve had my MBox2 for over a year now and work on it almost every day. I’ve not had any snags with it and the quality has been more than good enough for my home project studio. Some people feel it should have been able to handle higher sample rates, but hey, higher sample rates is not the only quality issue. Stuff like mic’s etc. are much more important, and the most important is the music you make.

As I said, preamps/radio tuners are crap. The metal housing is good but the knobs wiggle easily inside it which makes me wonder.

I pick up radio stations on preamp #1 and a high pitched hum on preamp #2. The headphone/monitor out is fine though.

If you know pro tools, that’s what it is.
Support:
Just don’t ask Digidesign a question about Pro Tools training and you’ll be okay.
Overall:
I use it for songwriting and editing on the go and for that purpose, it works fine.
