Feature:
Features are standard

Quality:
Quality is very poor.

Value:
They’re as cheap as should be.

Desirability:
If someone tried to give me these for free, I would decline.

Sound:
I run a recording department for an international music company. I don’t own these….I use KRK monitors. My good friend & colleague owned a pair of them. He constantly needed to repair them, and the low frequencies were basically non-existent. These are NOT professional grade at all, as previous reviews suggest (nor is any of the other gear listed in his review). These are 1 step better than computer speakers, they will not offer a realistic response at all. What you hear come out of these will be DRASTICALLY different than on a home or car stereo….Beware, don’t believe the hype. Save your money. My friend ended up buying a set of KRK’s and literally threw these out his window.

Ease of Use:
Very, very, very easy to use. A monkey could set these up

Support:
Roland/Edirol/Boss does have good support

Overall:
Save your money…..

Feature:
Price! They are in the same price class as standard pc speakers (granted 5.1 pc speakers probably) and although they do not provide the same bass, its enough for recording/listening and Im sure has a flatter response! So if you’re on a budget or would like something small get these!

Quality:
Great quality, solid build!

Value:
Great Value, though buy only if recording, pc speakers probably give a more discoey bassey sound. the price is the clincher for me.

Desirability:
nice and small, cute monitors. If you are serious about recording, these wont replace real monitors, but are a cheap solution.

Sound:
Impressive Sound, Decent Bass for size however I feel the bass enhancer is more of a gimmick, for any serious recording I would not use it as even though it adds more low end, it somehow sounds a bit forced, I can imagine the eq being very drastically altered near the low end. However, I think they could definitely be used for recording with this off, and a real sub connected to them if desired. They are plenty loud as well, (as long as you are not using them to monitor drums or anything!!)

Ease of Use:
Very customizable sound, tune to desired bass/highs just dont use the enhancer for recording!

Support:
DOnt know

Overall:
Ill use them for a while and throw them away in a few years.

Feature:
I like the volume control knobs on the front–very accessible. There’s also high and low equalizers, which I don’t seem to need because I like the response flat and accurate. It’s also nice to have two volume control levels for the two inputs, which I currently don’t use but probably will in the future when I practice along with music.

Quality:
Seems like it’s built to last forever. Solid construction.

Value:
Price seems pretty fair. I’m very pleased with the sound for my particular application–amplifying my digital piano in my home, so I don’t feel I paid too much.

Desirability:
I like the styling–simple straightforward, professional looking, not too flashy, and delivers great sound.

Sound:
I use a pair of the MSP3 monitors for my Yamaha P80 digital piano and the sound is very accurate and responsive. I feel like practicing even more now that I have good speakers!

Support:
Haven’t had to, thankfully, and don’t plan to need it.

Overall:
The MSP3s work great for what I need them for–monitoring my piano playing in my apartment. I wonder if they’ll be loud enough to play at parties or small gigs? I may have to buy some more powerful speakers when that time comes, but the MSP3s cannot be beat for monitoring my piano sound in my home studio.

Well, they’re really cheap, so even if they don’t sound good, you can use them for plenty of applications other than mixing and critical listening.

Sound:
You get what you pay for. These are more like mid-range computer speakers than audio monitors. They do that duty fine. But they are not for mixing or critical listening. Bass is weak (I’m not looking for big bass, just a somewhat flat frequency response down to 90 Hz or so, and these definitely don’t have that) and they rattle like mad at certain frequencies.

Support:
They didn’t seem to care that I was really displeased and wouldn’t consider an exchange of some sort or some kind of credit.
