This amp is loud and sounds great. It actually has bass repsonse, something very few of acoustic amps ever seemed to have. The amp looks good. You can leave it in your living room and the wife doesn’t complain.. well not about the amp anyways.

Plug and play. Evn makes for a nnice little PA for coffe shops.

It seems very weel built, but the effects on the first one I bought stopped working after a week, so I returned it to the store and got a new one. Hope the effects (which are not very good anyway) will keep on working …
Value:
It tried many accoustic guitar amps and apart from the AER Compact 60 which costs twice as much, their sound is not as good as the Crate.
Sound:
This amp will reproduce the sound of your accoustic guitar very accurately. I play a Godin Multiac Nylon through ant it does not color the sound of the instrument wich I think is a very good thing. I also tried an Ephiphone archtop and a strat an they both sound very good if you are looking for a crisp untainted sound.
Overall:
For a clean uncolored sound, this amp is the best bang for the buck.

I give it a 7 because, well its not designed to be a huge feature-full box. But there is quite a lot of EQ ability with the mid-sweep. You really can get anything EQ’d right with this. I have challenging instruments (see above) and it does the job.
Quality:
It feels solid. The knobs are tight and inputs feel strong and durable. I got like $75 off for a dented grill!! Awesome, I’d have dented that in 1 show anyway.
Value:
Hell of a lot of volume for a tiny price.
Desirability:
Sure nice to have a tiny box (not taking up stage space) that get get over any loudness of drums.
Sound:
This is so clean and rich sounding. I am using it for banjo, classical guitar, and accordion. Certainly, I have preamps to deal with the idosyncracies of those instruments, but for each I get a MUCH better sound that running direct through a PA.
Ease of Use:
Totally intuitive, but then again, its basically WYSIWYG.
Overall:
I am totally jazzed about this amp. First actual acoustic amp I’ve had, been running straight thru the PA or an electric guitar amp for too long. I didn’t know what I was missing.

for the price, it’s good. If you want a differents sound you’ll probably have to spend more.

Fairly sexy. Has a somewhat retro look.
Sound:
It sounds very proccessed, almost digital. This works for a lot of stlyes, especially metal. But if you want a raw guitar tone, keep looking. Also, it’s not very loud. I was using a quiet guitar with single coil pickups, and it barely got over the drums.
Ease of Use:
It’s an amp. You plug in and you’re off.
