Feature:
has less features that the microkorg!! didnt like the pattern edit style or the screen at that!!

Quality:
the quality of the keys are better but not the over all quality

Value:
not worth the $500 at all!! just cause it looks vintage doesnt mean u bump the price up!

Desirability:
the over all look is great, but its not about what it looks like- its about what it sounds like!!

Sound:
should of never even made this synth!! the original microkorg blows this one out of the water! sounds the exact same but just $100 more for what- a vintage look? thats just dumb if u ask me!

Ease of Use:
i will give it this, it was easy to use but not easy to edit personal sound with i think thats what a synth should shine on!!! i hate preset sounds & really just gave up on it after a while.

Support:
korg is awsome so il give them a ten! i own alot of korg products & never really had a problem so far!! knock on wood!!!

Overall:
not worth the money…. sorry korg!

Feature:
There are a lot of features on this thing. I would imagine it would take a good twenty minutes to program an effect from scratch. There are around 130 different FX already on the machine when you buy it. It even comes with the microphone for the vocoder.

Quality:
Definately a great buy for the price.

Value:
Good value for the price.

Sound:
This thing is deceiving at first site but it puts out awesome sound. You could cover anything from pink floyd to chemical brothers to radiohead on it.

Support:
Haven’t had to deal with any.

Feature:
It has standard features of a cheap synth, menu-editing means it aint great for quickly changing, controlling or editing sounds.

Quality:
The quality is quite good, ok its suprising light, I wouldnt want to drop it cos Im pretty sure it would be over!

Value:
A bit overpriced for what u get.

Desirability:
It looks good!

Sound:
The sounds are ok, you get the standards youd expect but nothing mind-blowing or truely analogue sounding warmness. The vocoder sounds are really not very clear and isnt really usable in a recording or live enviorment, more a gimmick, they really shouda put more into it.

Ease of Use:
Like I said, the lack of knobs is really annoying, its a good sized synth though, perfect for gigging.

Overall:
Iv already sold mine after discovering the vocoder is so poor, i replaced it with a second hand jx3p that was half the price and about 100 times better and real analogue!

Feature:
Its deffinatley loaded with features, as you can see from its description.

Quality:
The action of the board itself, seemed kind of half and half to me, it wasn’t the worst but it still felt cheap in a hard to define way. Its not in an aluminum case either, which is a pretty major qualatiy issue in my opinion.

Value:
The unit (depending on where you buy it) seems to be reasonably priced if your looking to get a synth key board, for elctronic styles of music, and don’t need a keyboard/workstation, but personally the most I would pay for one would be for less than half the price they are currentley selling for.

Sound:
The stock sounds on this keyboard are for techno/trance/synthisis freaks!(not my style) -Given time I think It could be tweaked to produce some amazing sounds, but I don’t own it or plan on buying one ant time soon.

Ease of Use:
The manual is pretty extensive, and to get full use of this machines vast capabilities, you would probably have to spend many hours reading. -This unit will take a chunk of time for most people to master, though once you get it down it would probably be fairly easy to use as most of the functions quite readily accessable, with the size of the display, and the monster array of controller knobs, ect.

Feature:
Audio In and pedal inputs and a full size keyboard puts the micro korg to shame.

Quality:
Feels good to play, if I turn it on, it’s hard to turn off. Reminds me of exploring a Mini Moog for the first time. Sound

Sound:
it is everything I expected and more. one of the more playable keyboards I have ever owned. Amazing for it’s size. Will have to give the Ion a closer look.

Overall:
It will be one of my favorites for a long time. Complements my other keyboards. Very portable. Could see myself playing live with only this board, even at this size. Big sound.
