Feature:
Wish it had an effects loop and reverb but it works without it fine.
Quality:
Very well made. Tolex and piping is tight. The unit has some weight to it as to not feel cheap yet is easy to carry.
Value:
It’s a great amp for the money. Remember that it’s not a Mesa or a Marshall but they don’t claim it to be. It’s just a great warm tube amp for the studio or garage or small room. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry
Sound:
Great blues, rock tone. Has plenty of volume. Use pentode side with a metal muff for good metal sound.
Ease of Use:
There is nothing about it that is hard to understand. Easy to understand complete manual.

Haven’t needed anthing yet.

The “Killer Ant” is made to mate with the Blackheart “Killer Cab” or as a perfect fit holding up the Little Giant 5 both physically and sonically; a single 10-inch 1016B Eminence extension speaker co-designed by Pyotr Belov and Eminence and perfectly paired to pull huge body out of the Killer Ant, Little Giant 5 and any other amp that doesn’t suck. Also held to high standards, the Killer Cab is crafted from the same 15 ply (18mm) void-free plywood as the entire Blackheart Engineering amp range, features expertly applied, durable black tolex and of course boasts the tatto-ish charm of the BHE logo.

Loaded with 4×12 inch specially designed Blackheart by Eminence BH1216B speakers and specifically voiced for closed back cabinets, the Blackheart ENG BH412 straight and slant cabs feature that rugged, “we’re in this for the long haul” build quality that makes every BHE piece of gear a lifelong commitment to sounding your best, being your best and pissing off your neighbors. Rather than worry about how cheap they can make something (which to them, is like trying to see how ugly of a date you can get), Blackheart send these out your way with metal handles that’ll hold their own for years and heavy-duty, metal casters that’ll roll while you rock longer than most marriages last these days. These are sexy little boxes that feature meticulous tolex work wrapped around 15 ply (18mm) void-free wood cabs, classically joined and glued.

Blacker than the blackest heart, yet as clean as a spring meadow. We can’t wax poetic enough, or probably shouldn’t since we are not in the poetry business. Blackheart engineers, unlike us, know one thing and know how to do that one thing very good, build killer guitar amplifiers with guitarists in mind. The Blackeart ENG half stack is the logical step in joining two of the latest and greatest heads and cabs you can find together. Very high quality built power amplifiers run 5 (extremely loud) watts into a British voiced Eminence inside cabinet. Built and designed for the long haul.

Feature:
The features on this amp are okay… i would have liked a gain knob, but otherwise the features are great.
Quality:
You can rely on this tank any time, anywhere.
Value:
This is the BEST in its price range. Nothing compares. Period.
Sound:
This amp has it all. Its clean sounds are great and it has that awesome vintage tone. It is very warm sounding and it loves pedals. Put on an overdrive on it, and it boosts up to an amp 3x as muc in cost.
Ease of Use:
As soon as I got this bad boy, I plugged it in and immediately started rocking! The instructions are simple and the sound is easy to play around with to get the sound you want.
Overall:
This will be all you need until you cant keep up with the drummer.
Talk about corruptive power. The New Blackheart ENG Hothead takes the basic plug and play attitude of a world-class 100-watt workhorse head and puts just enough thoughtful features on it to be the most flexible amp in its class, not to mention several classes up. Two Power Modes (Class AB and Class A) divisible by Pentode (full power) and Triode (half power) operation put four unique, classic and powerful voices right at your fingertips and you won’t need a Ph.D to get amazing tone; whether it’s searing rock your face off at full volume riff work or plucky, responsive Class A blues when you’re felling all deep and stuff.

Feature:
Basic and easy to dial in a good tone
Quality:
Surprisingly heavy and well constructed for the $..these are going to go up in price very soon..
Value:
You are not going to do any better at this point in time..
Desirability:
Very cool and the ladies dig it
Sound:
It does not get much simpler than this amp. But that is why I bought it. It is what it is and does it well. Great clean tones, classic overdrive sound. I prefer the overdrive with a good pedal in front of it, but that is just me. Pretty damn loud too for 5/3 watts. Combo is a little bass heavy once you turn it up past 4, but roll back on the bass knob and you are back to rock!

Feature:
pretty good features (3 band EQ, 3/5 watt setting, 5 plugs for cabinets of different Ohm ratings). It could have a master volume to get a perfect score, but this thing is loaded for what it is.
Quality:
Looks great all around… you wouldn’t know it is made in China by looking at it.
Value:
Where else can you get this much bang for the buck? No where, that where… It’s none more black…heart.
Desirability:
It’s totally cool, small and loud with a great natural OD.
Sound:
As you probably already know, there are two settings, a 3 watt and a 5 watt setting. The 5 watt seems a little brighter and more over-driven when the volume is on 10. I really like the sound when it is cranked, but it isn’t quite loud enough for practice (we have a LOUD drummer) and frankly it is too loud for my apartment… but the clean tones are very nice in my opinion.
Ease of Use:
As easy as they come.
Support:
no idea
Overall:
To my knowledge, there’s nothing out there that compares. BH is coming out with a 15W, a 1W and a 100W amp, and I will be taking a look at these as well!
