Feature:
Definately a 10. Once you get the programing down, the flexability of this unit is unrivaled by anything else on the market. I am a 5 string rock bassist of 17 yrs. Some of our songs I use layers of effects that I need to be able to come in and out of on the fly, and the switch ability in play mode is invaluable to me.

Quality:
As solid of a unit as you will find. Solid steel body, nice switches, and a cast aluminum pedal seem to be very road worthy.

Value:
A bit high but you can pay more for less so do your homework before you buy. (I read the manual twice before I bought this one)

Desirability:
Very attractive unit, and almost half the size of the on that it replaced with about 50% more flexability.

Sound:
I gave the sound an 8 because some of the effects create a light hum, which is to be expected in most all lower level effects, but a top of the line piece of gear I would expect to be just a little cleaner.

Ease of Use:
Really a 10 for me, but I’m writing this review to help others, so if your not well versed in multiple programable effects this has a bit of a learning curve to it.

Support:
haven’t had to use support so I can’t say. We’ll say 6 until I need them

Overall:
As close to a 10 as I have seen, but with my 17 yrs. exp. your really gonna have to blow my doors off to get a 10.

Feature:
Not to much to say here. Great pedal. Basic features like tuner and such. Should have came with an adapter, however battery life is decent on it.

Quality:
Very sturdy. I dropped it a view times and it was fine. It even got rolled over by an 70 pound amp and was fine. Great for someone who might be traveling alot

Value:
I do believe that out of the pedals in this price range, this one is one of the best. There are some better multi fect pedals out there, but for the price, this one is excellent.

Desirability:
Really looks nice. Black and red and all shiny =]

Sound:
Really good pedal with alot of usefull effects. The only problem I had was that the preset wah effects are really quiet.

Ease of Use:
When I first got it, the EZ edit on it is pretty confusing, but besides that it is down to earth and simple. Turn knob and push button for effect. simple

Support:
Never used.

Overall:
Good pedal for someone who is looking to buy there frist multifect

Feature:
The big feature on the ME-50B is dedicated knobs for each effects section. This makes things very easy to understand, especially if you are working with 2 or more effects. I am still a little sore that boss pedals just dont come with the AC adapter. Everybody buys one.

Quality:
This pedal is invincible. All the knobs are tough, and so is the expression pedal. Its perfect for on stage use.

Value:
For all the effects jammed into here, this is the best value you will find.

Desirability:
Its got so much cool stuff that you just have to have it. I probably wont ever find any usable effects out of half the stuff… but i still love messing around with it.

Sound:
This unit sounds amazing. I bought it mostly for its distortions, but using other effects in combonation with distortion can get you some very harsh tones, and some more usable ones. I think you could use this with any kind of music. I dont think I will ever need another pedal.

Overall:
This products is amazing. If you buy it you will not be dissapointed. This is the perfect toneshaping device, and it dosent have all that amp/cab stuff that you wont use anyway to jack up the price tag.

Feature:
So many in fact that It takes a long long time to master this pedal. Tuner, eq, the effects, expression pedal, it is loaded! All for a great price. Has a lot more to offer than the Line 6 stuff-but again harder to master.

Quality:
The b2 and g2 line of zoom pedals are the best the company has ever produced-built like a tank in a sturdy soild metal chassis. Gig all the time with this thing.

Value:
The zoom is loaded with a ton more features than units costing twice, even three times as much, and is built as good-if not better than these units–It represents a fantastic value.

Desirability:
good design, nice color, stupid question.

Sound:
extremely quiet, tons of great/good sounding effects. Synth sucks though IMO. Extremely versatle and can be used to great effect in a variety of styles.

Ease of Use:
Major learning curve on this badboy, but well worth it.

Support:
Its so well built I don’t think I will ever have a problem–I’ll give a 9 by default. website is good, intruction booklet could be better.

Overall:
I gig wit it, practice with it, record with it, do most of my tone shpaing with it. Sure some boutique pedals I own do certain individual things better than the Zoom (distortion for example) but none come close to this mfx pedal as an all in one unit.

Feature:
This thing has everything I can think of. Any input or output you could want. It’s great because I run mine through a sonic maximizer stereo like and it’s simply amazing.

Quality:
I had no problems with mine. Keep in mind that you can buy any electronic device and have problems with it. Even if it is brand new. Very nice clean looking component.

Value:
Are you kidding? 170.00 for this or 700.00 for the line 6. Hmmmm. Excellent value.

Desirability:
I gots me one uh dem

Sound:
The sound is very crisp or meaty or hollow. Whatever sound you want. The things got three different volume knobs for gods sake. It sounds so clear its almost scary and theres no buzz or hum. And for those of you that dont like the ultrabass feature, you need to tweak it a little. Back off the bass and it will sound great.

Ease of Use:
Very easy to use. Plug it in, select a bank and go. Adjust levels and set up an effect then save it by holding down a letter button. Wow was that difficult! I have an effect for each bank. Really really easy and the manual explains everything.

Support:
Never had to deal with them.

Overall:
This is it. The last one I would get. I live in a real world where I work for a living and you have to tell yourself “ultra-harmonizer or effects for the working person.” I would definitely buy this again.

Feature:
The unit does not come with an adapter, but it charges an internal lithium-ion cell that can easily be charged through the supplied USB cable using a computer.

Quality:
Seems well made. Has an aluminum body that should hold up well. I haven’t dropped it (yet) so I am probably not the best judge of who well it is made.

Value:
Good value, in my opinion.

Sound:
Sounds fine, but it does not crank out much volume. This is the reason that I did not rate this product higher.

Ease of Use:
Pretty easy to use but does take a bit of time to understand how to get to some buried features. Some items that would seem intuitively to be important enough to need easy access require a bit more digging through the interface (not a big gripe though).

Overall:
This device makes learning bass parts easy. Looping through a troublesome section of a song is very helpful. It is a bit touchy about the type of MP3 that you can use. I did not have a problem with this but in reading reviews did notice that others did. 98 percent of my MP3s are recorded from my personal CDs at 160Kbps at 44.1KHz. It does not like variable bit rate files or 48KHz files. I was able to put about 220 song files on the device. All of these files have intriguing bass parts. I will probable never learn to play all of these songs, but they are handy if I want to try. Cool device!

bag, footswitch included…

Value:
duh!

Sound:
come on, $139? for this…you can’t beat it…I don’t care if the POD is supposed to be the “standard” it doesn’t have anything that the Bass V-amp doesn’t have.

Support:
?not needed yet

Overall:
I really wanted for my studio stuff…but I think I’ll get some live work out of it too. you can “dial-in” any sound you can imagine…and then some.
