Feature:
Good features: the aural tone knob is very cool, the bass intensifier allows a lot more bass, the limiter keeps you from distorting your amp and screwing it up.
Quality:
Very good quality. SWR makes great amps.
Value:
A little expensive but thats what you would expect for such a powerful amp and such a popular brand name. The price doesn’t even matter… the amp is great
Desirability:
I have always liked the SWR logo. I like the red on the 900 amp. But this amp looks cool too. There’s a really cool blue light that comes on when you turn the amp on and when you activate the bass intensfier.
Sound:
The sound is very impressive. You can get a ton of bass out of this thing. You can shift the Aural tone knob and change your sound to match anything you like. The bass intensifier adds a whole lot more bass to that! Awesome sound!!!
Overall:
Awesome amp no doubt about it. I don’t have much money and this amp hurt my wallet a little bit but other than that this amp kicks!!! Definately the best amp i have owned.

Feature:
With the Tube or Solid State preamp selection, compressor, 10-band graphic EQ, and High and Low Contour knobs, you can tailor your sound to almost anything you want. Turn the compressor up for a tight round sound, or turn it down and get some down-and-dirty low growl.
Quality:
I’ve had this baby for 6 years, playing at very loud volume. Lots of gigs. It has held up like a pro.
Value:
For the money, you’re getting more quality than the price would indicate. You could spend twice the money to get a comparable head. I’ve often wondered how Hartke can offer such quality at half the cost of their competitors.
Desirability:
The lit-up graphic EQ looks cool on top of my rig.
Sound:
This head is more powerful than its 350 watts would imply. I play in a progressive metal band, and it has no trouble cutting through two guitars and a double-bass drummer.
Ease of Use:
Definitely user friendly. Easy to find your preferences for sound.
Support:
I called Hartke once with a question. They were efficient.
Overall:
One thing I don’t understand…I have the Hartke 3500 head hooked up to two Hartke cabinets: 410 XL and the 215 XL cabs. I turn the volume only to the 9:00 position (Level 2) and the rig is unbelievably loud with tons of overhead. You would think I was pumping 800 watts! I don’t get it…!
