Value:

Desirability:

A revolutionary speaker like HyDrive warrants a cabinet design that properly transfers it sound, which is why we took almost as much time developing an appropriate cabinet as we did engineering the speakers themselves. The ported cabinet featured on the HX115 was specifically engineered to extend low frequencies and provide better bass projection, so you can be sure that the power and tone of your HyDrive speaker are dispersed with great precision and articulation.

Hartke has been redefining the sound of bass guitar since the early 1980’s. Their revolutionary aluminum-cone bass drivers and breakthrough cabinet designs were the first to combine an open-ended, articulate response with a fast attack and punchy bottom end.

Feature:
Looks great and for now seems solid. Though I have my doughts.
Quality:
It seems to be made well and designed well. Will it stand the test of time? I owned this for 6 months now and it already has a plastic corner loose.
Value:
It may be worth the price. I just wish it played as good as it looked.
Desirability:
I Should have spent more.
Sound:
Bought this because I wanted to start using the 10’s instead of 15’s. As For tone, It definitely brought up the upper mids to clean up and tighten the tone but took away from the bottom. Push too much bass tone, speakers start farting. For small venues, this does ok. For mid to large clubs, your gonna need more. For recording, it surprised me. It Did pretty good.
Ease of Use:
East to use, yes. Easy to set up at a Gig, yes. Plug is a but shabby but it works. ( cannot control tweeter separate ).
Support:
Never had to call support yet. No major problems.
Overall:
Gave it an 8 and may have gone to 9 if the bottom end was better.

Feature:
Someone posted a desire for Speakon inputs??? Mine has two of them.
Quality:
IMHO… David Nordschow developed and produced some of the finest bass guitar enclosures the market has ever seen. I’m sure his amps stand right up there, too, but I’m one of those all-tube guys. Now that Eden Electronics has merged with U.S. Music, time will only tell how well quality gets maintained…
Value:
Priced comparably to its peers in the market.
Desirability:
They look great!
Sound:
I would give this a 10, but the horn will buzz on occasion. I discovered that the active electronics on my bass was the culprit. I have to cut-down on some of my EQ to eliminate the buzz. This cabinet throws itself all the way to the back of the room, and when I pair it with my Bergantino NV215, both cabinets getting pumped by my Marshall VBA400… I need a poet to artfully describe the sound.
Support:
They responded immediately when I asked them about the horn buzz.
Overall:
I’ll be using this for years to come…
The XL Series provides the highest performance at every level.

No accessories and I see some of these read “RECESSED SPRING LOADED HANDLES” .. THIS DOES NOT HAVE THAT TYPE,,,JUST SOME FYI, THE HANDLES ARE FINE! RECESSED BUT THIS ISNT THE SPRING LOADED TYPE ! I THINK THATS BETTER LONG TERM BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN ON SOME CABS THE SPRINGS GET WEAK AND HAVE A TENDANCY TO RATTLE…. JUST MY OPINION..
Quality:
WHAT THE WORST ASPECT? DONT HAVE ANY AND LOVE THE LOOKS, SOUND AND WEIGHT ISNT BAD !! I MAY BUY ANOTHER FOR THE COMBO OF THE 4/10′S JUST THE EASE OF TRANSPORT!
Value:
THIS PRICE FOR ME IS PERFECT! NOT TOO HIGH FOR THE QUALITY AND SOUND.
Desirability:
A PRACTICAL ADDITION FOR MY SETUP
Sound:
I bought this cab to go with my 4/10 & to have a “2/10″ for the smaller venues without having to take massive gear out for gigs like acoustic. For me, it took a couple times playing it to appreciate the tone qualities because I was SOOOO use to the paper cones in my 4/10. I dont believe I am bias although I had a Transporter 2/10 years ago and thought the sound was good to excellent.
Ease of Use:
NO PROBS HERE!
Support:
I HAVE NOT NEEDED THEM “BUT” HAVE TALKED TO THEM ON NUMEROUS OCASSSIONS. THEY PROB GOT SICK OF HEARING FROM ME BECAUSE THE SPECS OF MANY CABS ARE “NOT LISTED” IN THE DESCRIPT…SUCH AS PARALLEL INPUTS. MOST OF THE ADS STATE “SINGLE 1/4″ AND SINCE MY 4/10 IS SINGLE 1/4! IT WAS A “MUST” FOR THIS FEATURE.
Overall:
NO DISLIKES HERE AT THIS TIME!
Classic Ampeg tone for less! The B410HLF has a front shelf port like the BXT cabs for thunderous low end response. A high frequency horn contains a 3-position level attenuator. To prevent overpowering and damaging the horns, a resistive bulb is wired in series with the horn for protection.

Feature:
Used in conjunction with the SWR Bass Enhancer, this cab meets all my needs
Quality:
Very well made except the carpet finish does collect ‘fluff’ etc.
Value:
Having spent some time reviewing the competition, the swr came out tops
Desirability:
I’m long past the stage where sex-appeal of a speaker cab is relevant. All I can say is that the quality is superb
Sound:
Superb sound and tone range across all frequency levels. I use this in conjunction with the Working-Pro 15 cab and the 300W bass head. My basses are a Fender Precision for general use and Burns Bison for extra tonal variety. The sound is brilliant with both instruments.
Ease of Use:
The only problem I have is the weight – it takes two to carry it. However, the results are worth it
Support:
Not needed to contact them
Overall:
The SWR Working Pro speaker cabs and the Working-Pro amplifier is one of the finest I have come across and that is after playing bass for over 48 years. It is suitable for all genres because of its range and adaptability.
Fans of the Classic Tone of paper cone — with its high velocity and characteristic punch — can all find a cab that matches their needs. Plus, all cabs in the Ultrabass Classic Tone BB Series like their aluminum brethren feature powerful, remotely switchable 1 in. horn tweeters for added clarity in the midrange.

Overall:
I was incredibly impressed with this cabinet. not only is it much cheaper than the Peavey and Hartke 410s, but it sounds just as good. better than the Peavey in my opinion. it has a thick, dynamic sound that completely put my Fender Bassman 115 to shame. the only thing I disliked were the plastic edge protectors. I would have preferred metal. the handles are incredibly solid and well designed. overall, I would suggest this cabinet to anyone who wants a sturdy, great sounding rig, and can’t afford an Ampeg (which is most people).
This compact dynamo is a powerful full-bodied single 12-inch bass enclosure designed to produce the full spectrum of the bass instrument. The portability and output of this model is exceptional.
