Did you ever have to struggle getting a regular straight mic cable around a mixer or in it’s proper place in a DI? If you have then you know what great use a right angled connection on a XLR cable can be. The Audix CBLDR25 is a tough, rugged mic cable suitable for continuous use and is fashioned for strenous use of the wire so it won’t split on you.

The right angle cables connectors are great. They are black, and I like the non-discript aspect of that, I am sure that is part of how they keep the cost down and I love that

Quality:
Really, if you consider the price you could give it a ten but there is a little noise and I don’t know how well they will fair over time. I use them mostly in the studio , once or twice a month for tracking drums.

Sound:
It is a basic cable. Great for drum mics. Nice Flexible shielding. Verry little noise

Ease of Use:
its a cable…you plug it in and it works.

Support:
Not so good on this one. I owned an OM 5 and it whent bad. getting a repair was almost as much as buying a new mic and getting it back was a little slow.

Audix DP7 7 Drum Microphone Package

This product sounds amazing! With a few minutes of tweaking on my board, the mic sounded so amazing! It is the only mic I use for bass drums and cabs anymore! If you have a couple hundred bucks, DEFINITELY go for this mic!! Two thumbs up!!
