Feature:
They only thing that kept me from giving this a 10 is that it’s a VST and not the real deal. You’d never know though.
Quality:
I love the layout and low CPU demand.
Value:
Although I do well in my music career, I am still on a budget. It’s not cheap, but for the sounds you get from this, it’s worth the price.
Desirability:
Buy this.
Sound:
This product is crazy with it’s depth, warmth, and realism. You’d never know it was a VST. It’s by far the best VST I own. Unlike it’s brother the MOOG V, this plugin is low on CPU crunch. I’ve had 10 tracks on my G5 and had now issues. I can’t say that about any of my other plugins. On top of it’s amazing bank of sounds, you can tweak them to your liking and save them as presets. How cool is that? Best buy I’ve made recently aside from MOTU’s symphonic.
Ease of Use:
Just play. Easy as that.
Support:
Never used the support.
Overall:
Until I can afford some of the original keyboards spotlighted in this plugin, I’ll be using this.

Arturia has taken the first and last synthesizers created by Sequential Circuits and brought them to you in an easy to use software format. As with all other soft-synths created by Arturia, they bring you a replica of the Prophet 5 and VS both visually and sonically. Using the Prophet V will be second nature for all you old-pros, and if you’re new to the synthesizers, the only thing you’ll miss by not having the hardware versions is the workout from transporting them to the studio. Since the Prophet V is designed with Arturia’s TAE technology, you can be sure you won’t give up sound quality.

Feature:
This VST is really fun! There are so many possibilities with the combination of the VS and Prophet V.
Quality:
Clean, looks cool, sounds epic, easy to use, and under $200?? This VST sounds just like the real deal from the 70s and 80s. Your digital recordings will AWE your audiance.
Value:
With it’s simplicity, accurate sound, availible help, and it’s cost, there is no way it gets less than 10/10
Desirability:
I proposed to it.
Sound:
In replicating the sound of a real vintage synth, the Prophet V has done an excellent job. Every sound that comes from this synth is clean in the sense that you get pure analogue.
Ease of Use:
Piece of cake. Start it up, pick sounds, play. I have four gigabytes of memory and this VST loads quickly and correctly. It’s so simple to make new sounds and save them into custom folders. Everything is easy to see, and move. ‘Ease of Use’ is the most important factor to me, and Arturia has FAILED to let me down here.
Support:
There is a patch for this VST on Arturia’s website. Download, install. It works. 10/10
Overall:
If you’re still reading this, quit being indecisive, and make the best decision of your musical career.

You recieve a manual which explains the functions of the modules fairly well.It would be best for you to read up on analog synths first!
Quality:
The program looks beutiful on your computor screen. You can upgrade to the newer version at Arturia’s website for FREE!
Value:
You would have to shell-out Tens of thousands of dollars to get a real Modular Moog.At that, you would be getting a used instrument with all the problems and delicateness of that period analog synth. The MoogV is well worth the money!
Desirability:
This synth looks beutiful on your C.R.T..It looks very much like the real-deal.I think Arturia did a great job in making this product accurate in sound as well as looks!
Sound:
I find this product to sound very close to the real thing with lots of extra abilities that were not on the original modular moogs!
Support:
I had a little trouble getting through to the company, but I changed my E-mail address at the time.
Overall:
It will take me a long time before I will ever need another Virtual synth.I can make this one sound a lot like other makes and modals!
Get Arturia’s Origin Synthesizer and get the most powerful synthesizer on the market. The Origin goes much further than you’ve ever seen a synth go. It surpasses the traditional definition of synthesizers. It is a hardware DSP system that houses several synthesizers in one machine. Some of these synths come from the past, such as the Minimoog, some are totally new and innovative.

Feature:
The Multi-mode and matrix-mod sections are great enhancements to the original…and don’t detract from the feel of the original if you don’t wish to use them.
Quality:
My only genuine complaint about the product is nothing terribly new to software… a few little buggy things that could use some working out.. and in fairness, Arturia seem decent in their support for fixes/upgrades. I give a ’7′ because bugs are still bugs…
Value:
This thing sounds so good I use it almost exclusively right now in projects. I have an MS-20 and MS-50 combo but am preferring my CS-80v at the moment. When you consider what you get for the price of say, a casio keyboard this thing is in my opinion hands down the best value on the synth market today. If your ‘puter is strong enough this thing can *easily* fill all of your analog polysynth needs
Desirability:
softsynths just keep getting sexier and sexier… where’s it gonna stop???
Sound:
This things sounds damn awesome. I used to play a bit on a CS50 and CS60 (though only once on the original CS80..and that was YEARS ago) Arturia have nailed the ‘feel’ and sound of the machine.
Support:
No opinion
Overall:
Anything else I get will be supplemental. The CS-80v will be my main analog synth for some time…but then, I was always a sucker for the Vangelis sound…
