The reason is simple: it features a great selection of 233 realistic, natural drum sounds, offered both in dry form and sampled with our incomparable digital reverbs.
Price: $149.00 Buy now!

User Reviews:
Feature:
They’ve covered just about everything, In Depth MIDI functionality, and “human” functions like swing, pad sensitivity etc. allow you to mimic a live drummer like no other machine. The only thing I would add would be ‘flam’ and ‘roll’ buttons , like the Boss DR-660 has.

Quality:
Can’t be beat for the price

Value:
Hands down, the class of the group

Desirability:
Already have it!!!! ;)

Sound:
The Samples are diverse and clean. Easily the most ‘natural’ sounding drum machine I have ever used. Create a song with your patterns, choose a kit then add some outboard compression and the SR-16 sounds like a real drummer.

Support:
Have not had to contact Alesis for support even once

Overall:
By far the best in its class (Until Behringer decides to make a drum machine, that is!!)

Alesis DM5CP Cymbal Trigger Pad for DM5 KitThe Alesis Cymbal Pad features a natural swinging action for incredibly realistic feel. Expand your kit with this great pad!
Price: $49.00 Buy now!

User Reviews:
Feature:
This trigger comes with EVERYTHING you need to hook it up and get banging!

Quality:
For the price, I can’t believe the quality! My other set is WAY more expensive, but this trigger, and the set it’s expanding, are right up there with it!

Value:
Don’t bother with online auctions, zZounds prices and shipping are at least competitive if not better, and like I said, customer service is off the chart!

Sound:
I have the Alesis DM5 Kit and bought this extra cymbal trigger as an add on. It sounds great! The only reason I don’t give a full out 10 is because I also own a Roland drum kit, much more expensive, so not a fair comparison, but this still rates a 9 up against it!

Ease of Use:
Very straight forward setup, would be nigh on impossible to mess it up!

Support:
I went with a warehouse repack at first. There was a defect and I had to exchange it for an actual new cymbal trigger. The new replacement was at my door BEFORE I COULD FINISH PACKING AND SENDING OFF THE DEFECTIVE ONE! These guys don’t mess around on customer service!

Overall:
I would’ve been happy with the very minor blemish on the repack, but the defective trigger was a no-go. But zZounds wasted no time at all replacing it with the new trigger, no hassles, no headaches! The new trigger is great and I will add on again when funds permit.

User Reviews:
Feature:
Audio In and pedal inputs and a full size keyboard puts the micro korg to shame.

Quality:
Feels good to play, if I turn it on, it’s hard to turn off. Reminds me of exploring a Mini Moog for the first time. Sound

Sound:
it is everything I expected and more. one of the more playable keyboards I have ever owned. Amazing for it’s size. Will have to give the Ion a closer look.

Overall:
It will be one of my favorites for a long time. Complements my other keyboards. Very portable. Could see myself playing live with only this board, even at this size. Big sound.

Alesis PowerTrip8 Power ConditionerInstall the PowerTrip8 in the top of your rack and use the 8 switched AC outlets on the rear panel to power all of your equipment, up to a full 15-amp load. The line voltage monitor displays incoming voltage, and the 2 slide-out, swiveling light fixtures provide illumination of your gear, adjustable via the front-panel dimmer control.
Price: $99.00 Buy now!

User Reviews:
Feature:
Looks good! I have it in a rack with a Korg DTR1000 tuner and an Aguilar DB750 bass amp. All three components have the brushed alumimum look, so you could say I have a rather ‘color coordinated’ rack! The dimmer capable rack lights are very helpful, and the primary reason I wanted this unit. Honestly speaking, this ‘power conditioner’ is nothing more than a ‘glorified power strip, but it is handy. Being able to simply flip one switch and have amp and tuner come on at the same time… very convenient.

Quality:
Solid build, good looks and very functional…

Value:
Not worth a hundred bucks… but I wanted it, so I coughed-up the cash anyway…

Desirability:
Like I said… I wanted it, so I paid the overly inflated price for it…

Ease of Use:
Can’t say how it could be difficult to use…

Overall:
I’ve had mine for quite awhile now. I’ve had no issues with it, and Alesis is has a pretty good reputation for offering quality products…
