A LOT of switches and crap. But its pretty great.
Quality:
The quality is awesome. Nothing shaking around or anything loose.
Value:
Its okay. The thing is, its pretty expensive for a mexican. It should be american for 800, but whatever. Im sometimes ambarrased to show greater guitar players cuz its mexican, but there are REALLY great mexicans out there. Every guitar is different
Desirability:
One of the main reasons i got the jaguar, (sunburst) was cuz it looks FRIGGIN AWESOME. Everybody uses a strat or les paul, (theyre nice too) but the jaguar is just soooo sexy. the shape, and the color. Its a work of art. Good job leo
Sound:
It has some pretty great variety once you figure out the controlls. I haven’t owned many guitars, but ive played great vintage ones. This one sounds pretty good. itll do the job.
Ease of Use:
Still havent figured it all out, and i got it about a week ago. But its somewhat easy to use.
Support:
Zzounds rocks my socks.
Overall:
Great guitar itself. Pretty well for staying in tune which i was concerned about. I owned a Jag-Stang before this, and that thing SUCKED. But this stays in better tune. the only thing, is that its kinda heavy. thats all though. Just grow some muscle

Among the new American Standard Stratocaster guitars, the HSS model is definitely the hot rod of the bunch, with more output and warmth from its Tex Mex single-coil pickups and Diamondback humbucking pickup.

The USB cord could be longer, it’s about one meter long. But you can easily get an extension. Probably the next stage will be letting go of the cord whatsoever by using Bluetooth and battery power? A traditional amplifier outlet provides great backward compatibility with antique devices such as amplifiers. You will not have to worry that the guitar will not work without a comp. The attached software is plainly bad. The installation guide is horrible, it did not install properly in a default mode on my mac powerbook. It took me a week to find some time and call the customer support- who were actually quick in solving the problem. The software it can only output the sound back to the guitar’s phones jack and can’t export the sound directly to any other device such as speakers. However, a previous comment that it

a good thing is that it has a wammy bar. it also has a volume + tone knobs(whopee). what i dont like is that it has a 3 way switch instead of a 5 way. the neck has easy acces.
Quality:
the guitar is great. stays in tune, doesn’t break. real easy to work with.
Value:
with this price you can’t go wrong. very good for beginners or professinal.
Desirability:
it’s a basic body. the only thing cool is that the head tilts up instead of down like other brands.
Sound:
the sound is great for a guitar this price. with distortion it’s pretty cool. of course you would need a pretty descent amp do make this guitar sound good.
Support:

In 1957, “Patent Applied For” humbuckers became standard issue on both the Les Paul Model and the Les Paul Custom. To go along with its already upscale appointments, the Les Paul Custom was made available with either two or three of these quiet, powerful new pickups. Now part of Gibson’s proprietary new Vintage Original Spec series — the next step in the journey toward perfection.

I miss having 24 frets. You get used to it after a while though. Surprisingly, the bolt-on neck has pretty good sustain.
Quality:
Jacksons are simply the best. The tuners are really good. I’ve only had to tune it twice in the month I’ve had it.
Value:
This is worth it. I’d pay $700 for the quality of this guitar. Luckily, I got mine for less.
Desirability:
Vs are just plain cool. The gold hardware looks outstanding and isn’t that cheapie stuff that flakes off. The gold pinstripes add a nice little effect to the appeal too.
Sound:
The sound is phenominal. This is as close as getting a $1000 guitar as you could get for under $500 (got mine for $400). The bidge PU is amazing for distortion and the neck PU can put out some really good clean tunes…if you really want to play this like that.
Ease of Use:
The neck is super fast! The rosewood feels almost silky like ebony but for much less cost. The action came super low when I got it.
Support:
Can’t really say. I haven’t needed it because this guitar is so cool!
Overall:
This is one of the best guitars I’ve ever played. The only guitars that were better cost around $1500-$2000 and I’m not really rich. If someon ever stole this, they would be hunted down and tortured to death. This guitar is that awesome.
Mascis took the instrument to a new place with his feedback-drenched, distortion-laden band, Dinosaur Jr. This new signature model pays affectionately ear-splitting homage to Mascis, giving the instrument a modern makeover for fans who’ve been clamoring for such a model for years.

Super and I too agree the tuners had me stopping for a minute…they are thin…would like a bit heavier cast set of tuners.
Quality:
Tuners…pickguard minor issue…clear?!? What’s up with that!!??
Value:
Not cheap… but a good instrument.
Desirability:
Sex appeal…not to me! But eye appeal…100%
Sound:
I’m a bass player and I bought one…but really loved it when my friend came over and player it like it should be played! The sound is great very full and yet switching from strumming to picking does let the sound get buried.
Ease of Use:
The sound I get – is the sound I was looking for…and the ease of playing finished off the sale!

Overall:
I will keep it. I would only get another guitar that offers a different body and tone.
