Absolutely worth the price. Significantly better materials, workmanship, playability, and sound than other guitars that I’ve played in this price range.

Desirability:
Beautiful woods. The quilted maple top is stunning. Sometimes I can’t decide whether to play it or just look at it.

Sound:
I tried many other guitars in this price range. The D10 has significantly better tone and volume.

Support:
so far no need for support.

I can’t say enough good things about this guitar. I can’t believe that I got so much for so little.

User Reviews:
Feature:
I wish the fret board inlays were more eye-catching. I also wish this guitar had a pickup, because it sounds so amazing already.

Quality:
It is obvious tht this clean, classy guitar is about quality, so it’s OK that it’s not fancy. Solid, no defects, everything functions perfectly.

Value:
Perhaps the best I’ve seen for the price. A better bargain than my Martin DM. I went looking for a bit cheaper, “beater” guitar and found this gem!

Desirability:
Not a dazzling guitar, so people who play to look good probably won’t be as into this guitar. But it has a dignified, classy appeal, and once you play it, it’s addictive.

Sound:
It has a full, rich tone. Bass and timbre are great, especially considering the price.

Ease of Use:
Some fret buzz, but the action is plenty smooth. Seems to hold tune well, as the one I have played at the store (and will be buying this weekend) has been in tune each of the five times I have played it (and it’s a floor model)!

Support:
Haven’t purchased yet, but their web site is informative and easy to navigate. My Tak dealer is very knowledgeable, too.

Overall:
Love it and don’t see that changing!

Feature:
It is amazing that a guitar in this price range has a solid wood top. The tortoise shell pickguard is very attractive.

Quality:
Nice tuning knobs and beautiful finish on the wood

Value:
The salesman where I bought this said that it was the nicest playing acoustic in the $200 price range.

Desirability:
It is very attractive, but I wish it had some abalone in it like my sister’s Ibanez.

Sound:
This guitar has a clean, crisp sound. It sounds the same as a much more expensive guitar.

Ease of Use:
This guitar is very easy to play. Some other guitars I’ve played have higher strings that needed to be pressed harder, but this one plays so nicely.

Overall:
I exchanged a Fender Squire guitar for this one because I wanted to switch to an acoustic. It plays so much better than that one did. I expect to always have this guitar.

User Reviews:
Feature:
The expression system produces accurate acoustic replication – controls a bit sensitive – just need to play with it to find your tone. You can turn on/off various internal pickups and dial to taste for bass/treble/volume. I play a Martin HD28 w/Fishman Matrix 2 thru a Fishman Aura – but there is no need to use it for the Taylor, the expression system is just great.

Quality:
Taylor – quality speaks for itself…guitar was flawless.

Value:
I think for $3500 you can’t find a better guitar anywhere. I used to have a D-45V and this 916ce kills it.

Sound:
Finally – Taylor has produced a CE guitar that compares to a Martin D-standard series. Unbelievably balanced sound and the famous Taylor neck and action.

Ease of Use:
Expression system is fantastic. easy to use and undestand.

Overall:
I would never part with this guitar…I finally mean it when I tell my wife …this is the last guitar I will buy.

Feature:
By now all I do is take dumps in it.

Quality:
the neck is at a 90 degree angle hows that quality?

Value:
it makes a good toilet for the price. but if you dont take of the strings it can pinch your ass.

Desirability:
i guess it looked ok ontill i took a dump in it.

Sound:
they are trying 2 rip you off!! If you hit the strings you don’t hear a sound!! Pouring a drink is louder.

Support:
The neck is at a F@#!ing 90 degree angle but the company refused to refund it and said it should play fine.

Overall:
it has a 90 degree angle neck and you can crap in it.
