Why pay huge money when you don’t need to. Most manufacturers have building boxes down to an art. Granted the tech stuff isn’t in these. But I don’t need 1000wRMS, waterproof, directional horns, digital ready, delayed, or whatever. Wood cabs sound warmer than the lighter plastic. You get my point. New tech becomes old tech and old tech sounds the same as it did when it was new…but guess what…it devalues due to new tech, not quality. Still good gear, just not as fancy. Besides all that, your average Joe doesn’t know the difference in sound. Only the music heads do.
Sound:
Any cab you buy will have it’s own characteristics. By the cab best fitted to the room you play. 250 is more than enought for example, a 200 person sanctuary. This cab sounds clear and does punch the bass. No it is not a sub woofer. The highs can be stingy… eq them down. Not tough to do. Not a nasaly sound to these cabs. thats tops in my book. I hate too much mis.
Ease of Use:
Ive not had any problems adjusting for any room Ive played…
Overall:
Good for what I need.

I have to say, for the cash these are simply the best FOH you can get that are 100% made in the USA. The nice feature is that these and other Peavey boxes have a field replaceable basket! The black widows are fantastic, plus the 4′ VC is second to none. Look around, check the spces to see if other have this large a VC. The 22tx compression driver can be a monster if you push it. Overall a very well built speaker, made with baltic birch 7 layer construction. Wait for a sale, then pounce on these. Ohm they are Bi-ampable as well. Very nice..

(2) 1/4″ inputs. Thats all you need!
Quality:
No complaints! I run a Carvin DCM1000 and crank it pretty hard doing school dances, weddings, etc..
Value:
For what you pay, there is no better speaker on the market especially one with a decent name.
Sound:
Nice smooth sound, not harsh on the ears. Bass response is surprisingly good. I have a BBE sonic maximizer which makes all the difference in the world. Even without it, The BR-15’s still sound pretty darn good.
Ease of Use:
Easy to transport thanks to the nice handles, lightweight (48 lbs) which is nice for a 15″ speaker. Trapezoid design is nice.
Support:
None so far. Had the speakers 3 years.
Overall:
If you are a DJ, I highly recommend these speakers. They are a nice middleweight speaker, not to big for small parties yet it can handle weddings, proms, school dances, etc… I had a band recently borrow these speakers and they were impressed with the mid-range. Add a BBE and you will be thoroughly impressed.

One word: LIGHTWEIGHT
Quality:
Screws sometimes rattle. Need to tighten them occassionaly
Value:
Absolutely the best value on the market today.
Sound:
These speakers totally ROCK!!! I run a 5 system dj company and we used to lug around the 60lb MR-925’s…ugh. Although these don’t have quite the punch that a wood cabinet can have, I’ll gladly sacrifice it for the weight and ease of setup. Plus the MR-925’s were really, really bright…had to stuff foam into the horn just to tone them down. The EON’s are nice and warm and balanced.
Support:
Havent had any issues with them, and I already own 4 pair

In general this speaker is about average mabye a little more, but for this price it;s the best there is. it sounds better than EV iforce series speakers which cost just under $100 more. it,s metokre for a full range speaker. but running it as part of a biamped system for highs and mids. it mor than gets the job done.

never had any need for support with any peavey product

Ill probaly use these for tops until i can afford sp3;s then ill probaly use them for monitors. only getting difrent tops so i can run more power
