This “randy” is one of the best ones, I own a RR5 and I play it for my shows for the beginning sets, then i switch to the JS30RR..its a really great guitar nothing with it.
Ease of Use:
listen all you people who say its hard to play with this “randy” sitting down, if you haven’t figured by now, you can prop the guitar with your leg, just put the lower half of the body between your legs….its really simple..this guitar overall is the best for a cheap price.

Comes with two volume knobs, tone knob and a 3 way selector switch. and coil tap on both volume knobs if you want to clean up the sound a bit. It stays in tune. Only thing that turned me off before was the fact that the guitar takes batteries haha but It doesnt bother me at all with the sound I get from the Activator Pickups.
Quality:
Schecter did a number making this guitar. Neck thru is always nice, The pearl gothic cross inlays are beautiful, I got the black cherry one and I love everything about it. Average weight, not too light but it isnt heavy at all. The guitar is gorgeous no questions asked. I thought it looked good in pictures but seeing it in person is a whole different story.
Value:
For $700 this is a steal. I probably won’t ever buy from anyone else but Schecter in the future.
Sound:
Sound is amazing, the EMG 81/89′s do an awsome job and those pinch harmonics come so clear. Has a really nice clean sound. This guitar just sings to you as you play it.
Ease of Use:
Probably the best guitar I’ve ever played. I’ve played high grade Gibsons, ESP’s, Parker, Jackson and this really blows away everything i’ve played before. Don’t go spend 3 Grand on some les paul when you can get an overall better guitar that sounds and looks so much better like this for $700.
Support:
Never had any problems with Schecter. I got what I ordered nothing less.

That Mark button is great. It allows you to mark your brightest ideas and makes it easier to find them later.
Quality:
It’s made for good! Looks and feels solid, doesn’t feel like it’s going to break if you breathe on it.
Value:
It’s worth much and much more than it costs.
Desirability:
Oh yeah, it’s appealing. I was going to buy new practice amp, after 3 months of deciding which one I want to buy I finally made my mind. Went to the local store with $100 in my pocket. And then I saw this little thing just sitting on the shelve, fell in love with it and bought it instead of new amp. So now I’m stuck with my crappy amp, but I don’t regret buying this recorder.
Sound:
Sound quality is great, it doesn’t add digital feel to the sound as some digital recorders do. I usually play in my headphones, so I put this devise after the amp and plug headphones directly into it. That way it captures not only the sound of my pedal, but also the sound of the amp.
Ease of Use:
If you ever owned a CD player or an iPod and you know what the Play and Rewind buttons mean than you’ll be fine.

Overall:
It’s a very handy little thing. As a beginner I find this recorder very helpful, cause I can record up to 12 hours of my playing and than analyze it and work on whatever is wrong. I also try to come up with my own riffs and licks and this device is always captures my best and worst ideas.

For me it was a complete wast of money with no support form Ebtech.
Sound:
I have a horrendous hum or buzz in my Strat/Fender Blues Jr. system at home. It disapppears (except for the normal single coil noise) elsewhere. I bought the HumX in the hope that it would solve the problem. It did absolutely nothing. I recognize that I appear tohave a problem with the home wiring. I hired an lelectrictrician to test all the outlets and drive a new 10′ copper gound- stil have the buzz that only goes away when I ground all the strings with my hand. The Ebtech website is not particularly helpful. I sent a polite e-mail to Ebtech askng for some guidance- gfot no answer.
Ease of Use:
Pretty simple. Plug in to outlet; plug amp into the HumX. The problem is that it did nothing to correct the problem.
